| New rarities today consisted of an exceptional seawatching haul off County Clare with two South Polar Skuas and two Fea's Petrels at Bridges of Ross, as well as further Fea's Petrel records at Kilcummin Head in County Mayo and Melmore Head in County Donegal, also noteworthy was a Franklin's Gull briefly at Sandown on the Isle of Wight, an Arctic Warbler at Boddam in Shetland, and a Citrine Wagtail at Fair Isle in Shetland.
Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, a White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford, a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Wexford and East Yorkshire. |

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, the Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hudsonian Godwit and two Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, White-rumped Sandpipers in both County Wexford and East Yorkshire, and Ferruginous Ducks in Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire (2). |

| Discoveries today included a Baird's Sandpiper in Pembrokeshire at Dale, and a Scopoli's Shearwater passing Bridges of Ross, County Clare. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, the Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hudsonian Godwit and a Zitting Cisticola both in in Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Fife, two Ferruginous Ducks in Oxfordshire, and White-rumped Sandpipers in both County Wexford and East Yorkshire. |

| New rarities today were a Lesser Yellowlegs at Low Newton-by-the-Sea in Northumberland, a Caspian Tern at The Naze in Essex, and late news of the reappearance of the Blue-cheeked Bee-eater at St Mary's in Orkney.
Rarities included a White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Ferruginous Ducks in Oxfordshire, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford. |

| Discoveries today included a Gull-billed Tern in Devon at Slapton Ley, a Caspian Tern in Norfolk at Breydon Water, and a Ferruginous Duck at Rushy Common, Oxfordshire. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, the Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hudsonian Godwit and seven Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Wexford and East Yorkshire. Significant late news for yesterday concerned a Black-headed Bunting in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire. |

| Sensational news today of a Yellow-throated Warbler in Merseyside, off a boat at Liverpool Docks; the first British record and only the second ever in the Western Palearctic. | Discoveries today included Caspian Terns in Forth at Black Devon and East Yorkshire at Kilnsea, a White-rumped Sandpiper in Forth at Skinflats Lagoons, a Bonaparte's Gull in Fife at Tayport, an Alpine Swift in County Kerry at Beale, and in Suffolk the Black Stork reappeared at Aldeburgh. | The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Sooty Tern at Coquet Island in Northumberland, which continued showing throughout the day.
The new rarity today was a Blyth's Reed Warbler at North Ronaldsay in Orkney. Rarities included a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Blue-cheeked Bee-eater in Orkney, a White-throated Sparrow in Fife, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Red-footed Falcon in Lothian, a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and East Yorkshire, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in Orkney, a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, and Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk. |
