| The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Blue-cheeked Bee-eater in Orkney on Sanday. Two Black Storks migrated southwest through Cornwall, and Bonaparte's Gulls were new in Aberdeenshire at Whinnyfold and Gloucestershire at Severn Beach, whilst the long-stayer remained in Kent. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Hudsonian Godwit between Essex and Suffolk, three White-winged Scoters together in Lothian, Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire, Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Wexford, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Cork, County Wexford, and East Yorkshire (2). |

| The new rarities today were a Lesser Scaup at St.Gothian Sands in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpipers at Minsmere RSPB and Felixstowe Ferry in Suffolk, and at Ring Marsh in County Wexford, also new at Ring Marsh was a Semipalmated Sandpiper.
Rarities included a White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, a Black Stork in East Yorkshire, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, and a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire. |

| Discoveries today included three new White-rumped Sandpipers: in Staffordshire at Belvide Reservoir, in County Cork at Ballynamona, and in East Yorkshire a new bird at Kilnsea made two together at this site. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, the Hudsonian Godwit between Suffolk and Essex, Black Stork in East Yorkshire, at least two White-winged Scoters together in Lothian, Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| The highlight of the day was a Barolo Shearwater in Orkney passing North Ronaldsay, in East Yorkshire a juvenile Black Stork arrived at Bempton Cliffs and then relocated to the adjacent Flamborough Head, and in Lincolnshire a Black Kite flew over Fotherby. Elsewhere, rarities confirmed as still present were the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Hudsonian Godwit in Suffolk, Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire. Significant late news for yesterday concerned the Western Reef Heron reported in Carmarthenshire at Kidwelly. |
