New rarities today consisted of a Pallid Swift at Spurn in East Yorkshire, a Lesser Scaup at Loch Gelly in Fife, and a Ferruginous Duck at Dix Pit in Oxfordshire. Rarities included a Western Reef Heron in Pembrokeshire, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in Orkney, a Bonaparte's Gull in Aberdeenshire, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk. |

| New rarities today consisted of late news of a White-rumped Sandpiper at Farlington Marshes in Hampshire and a Bonaparte's Gull at Cairnbulg in Aberdeenshire.
Rarities included a Caspian Tern in Perth and Kinross, a Western Reef Heron in Pembrokeshire, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Least Tern in County Louth, and a Semipalmated Sandpiper in Orkney. |

| New rarities today consisted of a Semipalmated Sandpiper at North Ronaldsay in Orkney and a Red-footed Falcon at Crawford in Clyde.

| New rarities today consisted of a Caspian Tern at Loch Leven in Perth & Kinross, a 1st summer Bonaparte's Gull at Houb of Scatsta in Shetland and a 1st summer male Red-footed Falcon at Worth Marshes RSPB in Kent.
Continuing rarities today included Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in County Donegal, American Black Tern in Northumberland and Western Reef Heron in Pembrokeshire. |

| Wednesday 24th June 2026 | ||

| Todays find of the day was a Western Reef Heron at Sandy Haven in Pembrokeshire which is thought to be the same bird as previously seen here on the 13th of May before its two week long holiday to North Wales.
The other mega today was the pale morph Booted Eagle in flight over Torquay in Devon. New rarities today consisted of Greenish Warblers on both Fair Isle at Lower Leogh and Foula at Ham, as well as a Caspian Tern at Needingworth in Cambridgeshire. Continuing rarities today included Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Squacco Heron in Hampshire. |

| The new rarity today was a Squacco Heron at Pennington Marsh in Hampshire.

| New rarities today consisted of a Blue-winged Teal at Lough Beg in County Derry, a Red-footed Falcon at Sandwich Bay in Kent, a Red-rumped Swallow at Lundy in Devon, and a Western Oriental Turtle Dove at North Ronaldsay in Orkney.
Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Caspian Terns in East Yorkshire, an American Black Tern in Northumberland. |

| Continuing rarities today included Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Least Tern in County Dublin, Caspian Tern in East Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Western Reef Heron in Conwy, Savi's Warblers in Somerset and Great Reed Warbler in Somerset.
Other notable news today was the identification of not one, but two Green Warblers both previously identified as Greenish Warblers, with the first being at Winterton North Dunes in Norfolk last Tuesday and the second being caught and ringed on the Calf of Man yesterday morning. |

| The find of the day today was a Pacific Swift which flew north past the bird observatory on Bardsey Island in Gwynedd.
The new rarities today were a Greenish Warbler trapped and ringed at the Calf of Man on the Isle of Man, a 1st summer Bonaparte's Gull at Ballyhogue in County Wexford, a Paddyfield Warbler at Sumburgh on Shetland and a Caspian Tern at Hornsea Mere in East Yorkshire. Continuing rarities today included Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Western Reef Heron in Conwy, Savi's Warblers in Somerset and Lincolnshire and Great Reed Warbler in Somerset. |
