Wednesday 20th May 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of a Lesser Yellowlegs at Butt of Lewis in the Western Isles, a Gull-billed Tern at Minsmere RSPB in Suffolk, and a Thrush Nightingale on Fair Isle in Shetland.

Rarities included White-winged Scoters in Fife, a Black Scoter in Fife, Red-footed Falcons in Dorset and East Yorkshire, an Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, a King Eider in Highland, a Gull-billed Tern in Suffolk, a Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, and a Rustic Bunting in Orkney. There was also a female Grey Phalarope in full summer plumage at Wombwell Ings in South Yorkshire.

Tuesday 19th May 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of a Thrush Nightingale on Foula in Shetland, a Red-footed Falcon at Bubwith Ings in Yorkshire, a Western Subalpine Warbler and Great Snipe on Fair Isle in Shetland, and a Fea's Petrel off Portland in Dorset.

Lingering rarities included two White-winged Scoters and a Black Scoter in Fife, Kentish Plover in Cornwall, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire and Devon, King Eider in Highland, and Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire.

Monday 18th May 2026  
  There were two new rarities today, a Red-footed Falcon was found at Holt Heath in Dorset and a Bonaparte's Gull was at Leighton Moss in Lancashire.

Lingering rarities included two White-winged Scoters in Fife (although the Black Scoter was not seen today), Kentish Plover in Cornwall, Red-footed Falcon in Yorkshire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and the Rustic Bunting put in another appearance on Papa Westray in the Orkneys. In East Sussex, the Eastern Subalpine Warbler was seen briefly in the morning but not later.

Sunday 17th May 2026  
  New rarities today included a Great Reed Warbler at Snettisham Coastal Park in Norfolk, an Arctic Redpoll at Hillswick in Shetland, and a Red-throated Pipit at Fair Isle in Shetland.

Rarities included White-winged Scoters in Fife, a Black Scoter in Fife, a Kentish Plover in Cornwall, a Red-footed Falcon in Yorkshire, a King Eider in Highland, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in East Sussex, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, a Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire, an Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, and a Red-throated Pipit in Shetland.

  New rarities today consisted of a Rustic Bunting at Papa Westray in Orkney and a Kentish Plover at Marazion in Cornwall.

Rarities included a Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, White-winged Scoters in Fife, a Black Scoter in Fife, a Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire and County Donegal, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in East Sussex, a Red-footed Falcon in East Yorkshire, a Pacific Diver in County Mayo, a King Eider in Highland, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, a Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and an Iberian Chiffchaff in Suffolk.

Friday 15th May 2026  
  New rarities today included a Lesser Yellowlegs at Tacumshin in County Wexford and a Savi's Warbler at Stodmarsh in Kent.

Rarities included a Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset and Staffordshire, an Iberian Chiffchaff in Suffolk and County Durham, a Pacific Diver in County Mayo, White-winged Scoters in Fife, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in East Sussex, Red-footed Falcons in East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire, a Black Scoter in Fife, a King Eider in Highland, and a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk.

Thursday 14th May 2026  
  Rarities today comprised the Black-winged Kite still in Norfolk, Eastern Subalpine Warbler still in song in East Sussex, White-winged Scoter and Black Scoter still together in Fife, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, territorial Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, two Red-footed Falcons together in North Yorkshire, King Eider in Highland, Bonaparte's Gulls in both Dorset and Staffordshire, and Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire.

Wednesday 13th May 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of a Bonaparte's Gull at Abbotsbury Swannery in Dorset, a Red-rumped Swallow at Ballycotton in County Cork, a Squacco Heron at Lough Clubir in County Cork, and a Red-throated Pipit at Sumburgh Head in Shetland.

Rarities included a Red-footed Falcon in Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Staffordshire and Dorset, a King Eider in Highland, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in East Sussex, an Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, and a Black Scoter in Fife.

Tuesday 12th May 2026  
  Discoveries today included a male Eastern Subalpine Warbler in East Sussex at Beachy Head, a femaleĀ Subalpine Warbler species in Dorset at Portland Bill, Lesser Scaup in Suffolk at Minsmere, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Cork at Clonakilty, and in North Yorkshire now two Red-footed Falcons together at North Duffield Carrs.

Continuing rarities comprised the Black-winged Kite still in Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff still on territory in County Durham, Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire, Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, and in Fife two White-winged Scoters and a Black Scoter together at Kirkcaldy.

Monday 11th May 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of two Red-footed Falcons on The Lizard in Cornwall, a Bonaparte's Gull at Belvide Reservoir in Staffordshire, a Black Kite at Cadgwith in Cornwall, and a Little Bittern at St.Mary's in Scilly.

Rarities included a White-winged Scoter in Fife, Red-footed Falcons in North Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaffs in Suffolk and County Durham, a Red-rumped Swallow in Hampshire, and a Black Scoter in Fife.
