| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a male Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk at Sheringham, whilst another remained at Filey, North Yorkshire.
Elsewhere rarities comprised the Ross's Goose still in Argyll, Pacific Diver, Dusky Warbler, and two Lesser Scaups in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, King Eiders in Highland and Shetland, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, three Penduline Tits together in Gloucestershire, and Ferruginous Ducks still in Hertfordshire, and new at Lackford Lakes, Suffolk. |

| Discoveries today included a Ross's Goose in Argyll at Drumlemble, a Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk at Martlesham, and in Perth and Kinross two Lesser Scaups together at Loch Leven. Elsewhere, male Buffleheads showed again in both County Kerry and Gwynedd, a White-winged Scoter remained in Lothian, three Penduline Tits were still together in Gloucestershire, King Eider in Highland, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Lesser Scaup in Essex, Ferruginous Duck in Hertfordshire, and in Cornwall Pacific Diver, Dusky Warbler, Lesser Yellowlegs, and two Lesser Scaups. |

| The new rarity today was an Isabelline Shrike species in East Yorkshire at Flamborough Head.
Continuing rarities included three Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire, Bufflehead in Gwynedd, King Eider in Shetland, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Dusky Warblers in Cornwall and County Waterford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Ferruginous Duck in Hertfordshire, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, and two Lesser Scaups in Cornwall. |

| Rarities in Britain today comprised the Bufflehead still in Gwynedd, a Zitting Cisticola still in Suffolk, three Penduline Tits together in Gloucestershire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, King Eiders in both Highland and Shetland, Bonaparte's Gull and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (2) and Essex, and Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire.
In Ireland the Harlequin Duck remained in County Donegal, as did the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, both Bufflehead and Black Duck in County Kerry, a Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, and a Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo. |

| Discoveries today included a Hooded Merganser in London at Springwell Lake, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire (2), Hertfordshire and Warwickshire, and in Avon now three Penduline Tits together at Aust.
Rarities elsewhere comprised the Harlequin Duck still in County Donegal, three Zitting Cisticolas still together in Suffolk, male Buffleheads in both County Kerry and Gwynedd, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, King Eiders in Highland and Shetland, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and a Lesser Scaup still in Essex. |
