  Discoveries today included a Hooded Merganser in London at Springwell Lake, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire (2), Hertfordshire and Warwickshire, and in Avon now three Penduline Tits together at Aust.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Harlequin Duck still in County Donegal, three Zitting Cisticolas still together in Suffolk, male Buffleheads in both County Kerry and Gwynedd, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, King Eiders in Highland and Shetland, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and a Lesser Scaup still in Essex.

Friday 19th December 2025  
  The new rarity today was Bufflehead in Gwynedd at Foryd Bay.

Lingering rarities included Pacific Diver in Cornwall, two King Eiders in Highland and Shetland, Black Scoter in Highland, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, two Ferruginous Ducks in Lincolnshire and Hampshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in County Antrim, and four Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (2), Essex and County Cork.

Thursday 18th December 2025  
  The new rarity today was a Dusky Warbler in Cornwall at Boscathnoe Reservoir.

Lingering rarities included a Black Scoter in Highland, King Eider in Highland, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Bufflehead in County Kerry, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, and Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (2) and Surrey.

Late news included a Red-breasted Goose in Argyll, and Lesser Scaup in Essex.

Wednesday 17th December 2025  
  Rarities today comprise Black Scoter and King Eider still together in Highland, a Hume's Warbler still in Norfolk, King Eider still in Shetland, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, and Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire.

Tuesday 16th December 2025  
  At least two Penduline Tits were at Aust, Gloucestershire, a Black Scoter was at Dornoch, Highland and a Lesser Scaup was at Lough Clubir, County Cork.

Lingering rarities included the Harlequin Duck and two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, Bufflehead in County Kerry, King Eiders in Highland and Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaups in Essex and Surrey, two more Lesser Scaups, Pacific Diver and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, another Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Spotted Sandpiper and Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, two Hume's Warblers in Norfolk and Eastern Black Redstart in Yorkshire.

Monday 15th December 2025  
  The highlight of the day came from Cornwall where now two Pacific Divers together at Mousehole.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Harlequin Duck still in County Donegal, Bufflehead still in County Kerry, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Eastern Black Redstart in North Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper and Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, King Eider in Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, and in Cornwall Lesser Yellowlegs and two Lesser Scaups.

Late new for yesterday concerned a King Eider at Dornoch, Highland.

  Rarities today consisted of a Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Pacific Diver in Cornwall, King Eider in Shetland, Bufflehead in County Kerry, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, Pallid Harrier in Carmarthenshire, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Eastern Black Redstart in North Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Dusky Warbler in Kent, another Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, and Lesser Scaups in County Antrim and Essex.

  The new rarity was a Dusky Warbler in Kent at Minster Marshes.

  A King Eider was found at Quendale, Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Scops Owl in Glamorgan, Lesser Crested Tern in Devon, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, Eastern Black Redstart in Yorkshire, Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (two) and Surrey and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk.
