  Rarities today comprised Scops Owl and Pallid Harrier both still in Glamorgan, Lesser Crested Tern and Desert Wheatear still in Devon, Harlequin Duck and two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, White-winged Scoters in both Fife and Lothian, a Blue-winged Teal reported briefly in the West Midlands at Sandwell Valley, Spotted Sandpiper and Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, Eastern Black Redstart in North Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in Leicestershire, and Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire.

Saturday 6th December 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Scops Owl in Glamorgan at Killay, Swansea, a remarkable record!

Elsewhere, new rarities comprised Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim at Larne off Sandy Bay, two White-winged Scoters together in Lothian at Gosford Bay, and Hume's Warbler in Northumberland at Longbenton, Benton.

Lingering rarities included the Lesser Crested Tern still in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in North Yorkshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, and three Lesser Scaups in Essex, Surrey and Leicestershire.

Friday 5th December 2025  
  An Eastern Black Redstart was found at Filey, North Yorkshire today.

Lingering rarities included the Lesser Crested Tern in Devon, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, two Hume's Warblers in Norfolk, Harlequin Duck and two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaups in Surrey, Essex and Leicestershire, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Bonaparte's Gull in Highland.

Thursday 4th December 2025  
  Rarities today comprised the Lesser Crested Tern still in Devon where a Desert Wheatear was reported at Bolberry, Harlequin Duck and two Richardson's Cackling Geese still in County Donegal, a Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Baikal Teal and Desert Wheatear both still in Dorset, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Spotted Sandpiper and Dusky Warbler in County Waterford, Kentish Plover and Dusky Warbler in Somerset, King Eider in Shetland, and in Cornwall two Lesser Scaups and the Lesser Yellowlegs.

Wednesday 3rd December 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Lesser Crested Tern in Devon on the Exe Estuary where it showed until dusk; this is the record of this species in Britain in 20 years.

Elsewhere, rarities comprised Siberian Rubythroat and King Eider both still in Shetland, two Northern Harriers together in County Wexford, Baikal Teal and Desert Wheatear still in Dorset, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Hume's Warbler in Kent, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, and Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (2), Essex, Surrey, and the Western Isles.

Tuesday 2nd December 2025  
  A Black Scoter was found at Rascarrel in Dumfries and Galloway today.

Lingering rarities included the Siberian Rubythroat in Shetland, Desert Wheatear in Dorset, Hume's Warblers in Kent and Norfolk (two), Killdeer in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs and Pacific Diver in Cornwall and Lesser Scaups in Leicestershire and County Antrim.

Monday 1st December 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Siberian Rubythroat in Shetland at Scousburgh, Mainland, Shetland. Elsewhere in Britain the Pacific Diver returned to Mousehole, Cornwall.

In Ireland the Harlequin Duck and two Richardson's Cackling Geese remained in County Donegal, as did the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, two Northern Harriers were still together in County Wexford, Pacific Diver, Black Duck, Cackling Goose, and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull all in County Mayo, Semipalmated Sandpiper still in County Clare, and Lesser Yellowlegs still in County Antrim.

Sunday 30th November 2025  
  New rarities today were a Dusky Warbler at Seaton, Kent; and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Titchwell, Norfolk.

Continuing rarities included a Baikal Teal in Dorset; Desert Wheatear in Dorset; Dusky Warblers in Kent and Scilly; Harlequin Duck in County Donegal; Hume's Warblers in Kent and Norfolk; Kentish Plover in Somerset; Killdeer in County Wexford; King Eider in Shetland; Lesser Scaups in Cornwall, County Antrim, Essex, Leicestershire, and Surrey; Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and County Antrim; two Northern Harriers in County Wexford; Red-breasted Goose in Essex; Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare; and White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford.

  The new rarity today was an Arctic Redpoll in Nybster, Highland.

Continuing rarities included a Desert Wheatear in Dorset; Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim; Dusky Warblers in Cornwall, Kent, and Scilly; Hume's Warbler in Norfolk; Kentish Plover in Somerset; Killdeer in County Wexford; King Eider in Shetland; Lesser Scaup in Leicestershire; Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim; Northern Harrier in County Wexford; Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan; Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo; Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare; and White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford.

Friday 28th November 2025  
  In Cornwall a Black-browed Albatross was seen off St Ives Island this morning then flew west. Yesterdays Killdeer at South Slob, County Wexford was seen in the morning but not subsequently and a White-rumped Sandpiper was also found there. The only other new rarity found today was a Dusky Warbler at Sandwich Bay in Kent.

Lingering rarities included Desert Wheatear in Dorset, Eastern Black Redstart in Yorkshire, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, King Eider in Shetland, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, with the long-staying Black-faced Bunting still on Fair Isle, Shetland and at least one Zitting Cisticola still to be found in Suffolk. Finally there were three Hume's Warblers in north Norfolk and Dusky Warblers in Norfolk and Cornwall.
