| In Cornwall a Black-browed Albatross was seen off St Ives Island this morning then flew west. Yesterdays Killdeer at South Slob, County Wexford was seen in the morning but not subsequently and a White-rumped Sandpiper was also found there. The only other new rarity found today was a Dusky Warbler at Sandwich Bay in Kent.
Lingering rarities included Desert Wheatear in Dorset, Eastern Black Redstart in Yorkshire, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, King Eider in Shetland, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, with the long-staying Black-faced Bunting still on Fair Isle, Shetland and at least one Zitting Cisticola still to be found in Suffolk.
