  Mega highlights consisted of a Siberian Rubythroat trapped and ringed on North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

Continuing rarities included Steppe Grey Shrike on Shetland, Hume's Warbler on Shetland. Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Isabelline Shrike sp. in West Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Co. Antrim, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, White-rumped Sandpipers in Staffordshire, Co. Derry, and Angus, Lesser Scaup in Northants, Northern Harrier in Co. Wexford, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Bonaparte's Gull in Co. Antrim, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, and Baikal Teal in Dorset.

Monday 27th October 2025  
  New discoveries today included a Hume's Warbler at Sandwick, Shetland, a Lesser Scaup at Ditchford, Northamptonshire and a Ferruginous Duck at Brampton, Cambridgeshire.

Lingering rarities included the Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Isabelline Shrike species in Sussex, Steppe Grey Shrike in Shetland, American Pipit in Scilly, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Long-billed Dowitcher and two White-rumped Sandpipers in Angus, three more of the latter in County Derry and one in Staffordshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Northern Harrier in County Wexford and single Pallid Harriers in Pembrokeshire and Glamorgan.

Sunday 26th October 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Isabelline Shrike species in West Sussex at Henfield. Elsewhere in Britain an American Pipit remained in the Isles of Scilly, Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, Dusky Warbler and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Angus and Orkney, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, and White-rumped Sandpipers in Merseyside and Staffordshire.

In Ireland a Northern Harrier was new in County Wexford at Cahore with a further Northern Harrier, Semipalmated Sandpiper, and three White-rumped Sandpipers nearby at Tacumshin, the Harlequin Duck was still in County Donegal, Pacific Diver still in County Cork, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal and County Londonderry (3), Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim and County Louth, and a Bonaparte's Gull still in County Antrim.

  New rarities included a Lesser Scaup at Pennington Flash, Greater Manchester, Lesser Yellowlegs at Rue Point, Rathlin Island, Co. Antrim, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Cashen Estuary, Co. Kerry, Black Scoter at Peffer Sands, Lothian, and Rustic Bunting at Kynance Cove, The Lizard, Cornwall.

Continuing rarities included a Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, American Pipit in Scilly, White-rumped Sandpipers in Staffordshire, Co. Derry, and Co. Wexford, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Co. Louth, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Co. Wexford, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll and Co. Sligo, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, and Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire.

Late News included a Bonaparte's Gull at Big Sand, Loch Gairloch, Highland.

Rarities today in Britain comprised the Brown Shrike still in Suffolk, Isabelline Wheatear and Steppe Grey Shrike both still in Shetland, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Baikal Teal in Dorset, a Gull-billed Tern briefly in Lincolnshire at Sandilands, Radde's Warbler in Orkney, Lesser Scaup in the Western Isles on South Uist, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpiper in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire.

In Ireland the Harlequin Duck remains in County Donegal, a Northern Harrier, Lesser Yellowlegs, and Lesser Scaup together in County Wexford, Laughing Gull in County Kerry, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, and two White-rumped Sandpipers in County Londonderry.

Thursday 23rd October 2025  
  In Aberdeenshire, the White-throated Needletail was reported at Loch of Strathbeg RSPB briefly. In Orkney, a Black-throated Thrush and a Radde's Warbler were trapped on North Ronaldsay, a Paddyfield Warbler was found on Fair Isle, Shetland, a Bonaparte's Gull was at Loch Gairloch, Highland and a Ferruginous Duck was at Langtoft, Lincolnshire, whilst a Fea's Petrel species flew past a boat off Cornwall.

Lingering rarities included the Isabelline Wheatear, Olive-backed Pipit and Hornemann's Redpoll in Shetland, American Pipits in Scilly and County Galway, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, three White-rumped Sandpipers in County Derry and one in Staffordshire, Pacific Diver in County Cork and Bonaparte's Gulls in Northumberland and County Antrim.

  New rarities included a Brown Shrike at Upper Hollesley Common, Suffolk, Pallid Swift at Long Nab near Burniston, North Yorkshire, and a Dusky Warbler at Caerthillian Cove on The Lizard, Cornwall.

Continuing rarities included Black-faced Bunting in East Yorkshire, Steppe Grey Shrike in Cornwall, Eyebrowed Thrush in Scilly, Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Black Scoter in Northumberland, White-rumped Sandpiper in Staffordshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Co. Derry, White-rumped Sandpiper in Co. Wexford, White-rumped Sandpiper at Afon Cefni near Malltraeth, Anglesey, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, American Pipit in Scilly, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Northern Harriers in Co. Wexford, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Bonaparte's Gull in Co. Antrim, Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, Long-billed Dowitcher at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, White-rumped Sandpipers at Sruhill Lough on Achill Island, Co. Mayo, and Eastern Nightingale (form golzii) in Aberdeenshire.

Late News included a Red-eyed Vireo at Eoropie near Butt of Lewis, Western Isles from 12th October.

  Mega highlights consisted of a Rufous-tailed Robin on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, an Eyebrowed Thrush at Porthloo on St. Mary's, Scilly, and a Black-faced Bunting at Bridge of Fitch, Shetland.

New rarities included a Rustic Bunting at Cape Clear, Co. Cork, Olive-backed Pipit at Fair Isle and another near Hoswick, Shetland, Isabelline Wheatear at Fair Isle, Shetland, Hume's Warbler at Balephuil, Argyll, Bonaparte's Gull at Milk Bay, Co. Antrim, and Pallid Harrier at Snettisham Coastal Park, Norfolk.

Continuing rarities included Black-faced Bunting in East Yorkshire, Eastern Nightingale (form golzii) in Aberdeenshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Staffordshire and Co. Wexford, Dusky Warbler in Norfolk and East Yorkshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire, Hume's Warbler in East Yorkshire, Steppe Grey Shrike in Cornwall, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Lesser Scaup in Western Isles and Co. Wexford, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, American Pipit in Scilly and Co. Galway, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Pacific Diver in Co. Cork, Cackling Goose in Co. Mayo, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Co. Sligo, Northern Harriers in Co. Wexford, and Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk.

Late News included Red-throated Pipit at Gore Lane, Exmouth, Devon from yesterday.

  Mega highlights included late news of a Great Crested Flycatcher in Shetland last week (although not seen since) and a Black-faced Bunting at Spurn, East Yorkshire.

Other new rarities included Hume's Warbler at Sammy's Point/Eastington, East Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler at Stiffkey, Norfolk, Eastern Nightingale (form golzii) at Rattray Head, Aberdeenshire, Cackling Goose at The Mullet, County Mayo, White-rumped Sandpiper at Belmullet, County Mayo, Western Oriental Turtle Dove (form meena) at Fair Isle, Shetland, and Semipalmated Sandpiper at The Gearagh, County Cork.

Continuing rarities included American Pipit in Scilly, White-rumped Sandpiper in Staffordshire, Baird's Sandpiper in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Western Isles, Red-throated Pipit on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire, Dusky Warbler in Norfolk, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Derry, and Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire.

  New rarities included Steppe Grey Shrike at Mullion Cove, Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpiper at Douglas Estuary, County Cork, White-rumped Sandpiper at Portstewart, County Derry, Dusky Warbler at Blakeney Point, Norfolk, Red-footed Falcon at Dungeness Point, Kent, Semipalmated Sandpipers (3) at Tacumshin, County Wexford, Lesser Scaup at Tacumshin, County Wexford, American Pipit at St. Mary's airport, Scilly, Red-throated Pipit at North Ronaldsay, Orkney, Pallid Harrier at Dowrog Common, Pembrokeshire, and Lesser Yellowlegs at Lady's Island Lake, County Wexford.

Continuing rarities included Pacific Diver in County Cork, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, County Down and Northumberland, Blackpoll Warbler in Shetland, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Baird's Sandpiper in Cornwall, Dusky Warbler in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpiper in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpiper in Staffordshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Mayo, White-rumped Sandpipers in Angus, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal, Lesser Scaup in Western Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Northern Harriers in County Wexford, Radde's Warbler in County Cork, Radde's Warbler in Dorset, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Kerry.
