The mega highlight of the day was a Mourning Dove on St.Agnes, Scilly.
Other new rarities included American Pipit at Inishbofin, Co.Galway, Red-rumped Swallow at Great Massingham, Norfolk, Red-footed Falcon at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, Baird's Sandpiper at Rutland Water, Leicestershire, and North Uist, Western Isles, Cackling Goose at North Uist, Western Isles, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Tacumshin, Co.Wexford, and White-rumped Sandpipers at Siblyback Lake, Cornwall, and Harper's Island, Co.Cork. Continuing rarities included American Pipit at Rathmoylan Cove, Co.Waterford, and St.Agnes, Scilly, Northern Parula at Firkeel, Co.Cork, Grey-cheeked Thrush on Tory Island, Co.Donegal, Blackpoll Warbler on Arranmore Island, Co.Donegal, Rustic Bunting at Urafirth, Shetland, Siberian Thrush at Scalloway Caravan Park, Shetland, Blue-winged Teal at Loch of Spiggie, Shetland, Turkestan Shrike at Dunwich Heath, Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs at South Wootton, Norfolk, Etton Maxey Pits, Cambs, Lurgangreen, Co.Louth, and South Uist, Western Isles, Western Subalpine Warbler at North Levenwick, Shetland, Pallid Harrier at Shuart, Kent, and Llanrhidian Marsh, Glamorgan, Western Sandpiper at Maidens, Ayrshire, Spotted Sandpiper on St.Agnes, Scilly, Wilson's Phalarope on Bryher, Scilly, Marsh Sandpiper at Musselburgh Lagoons, Lothian, Lesser Scaup at Gouthwaite Reservoir, N.Yorks, Hornemann's Redpoll at Norwick, Unst, Shetland, and Semipalmated Sandpiper at Tacumshin, Co.Wexford. |
