| Nearctic waders today comprised the Western Sandpiper still in Ayrshire, Wilson's Phalaropes in County Antrim and County Kerry (2), Lesser Yellowlegs in Cambridgeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Buff-breasted Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Kerry and Suffolk, four American Golden Plovers, and a total of eight Pectoral Sandpipers.
Rarities elsewhere comprised the Marsh Sandpiper still in Lothian, Laughing Gull in County Kerry, Western Bonelli's Warbler in the Isles of Scilly, Blyth's Reed Warbler new on Shetland on Fair Isle, and a Red-footed Falcon still in Kent. Significant late news for yesterday concerned a Citrine Wagtail at Gladhouse Reservoir, Lothian. |
