A South Polar Skua flying west past Pendeen Watch in Cornwall was the standout bird of the day.
New rarities of the day included a Ross's Gull reported at Nigg Bay in Aberdeenshire, a Red-rumped Swallow flying south over South Beach at Rush in County Dublin, and four Pallid Swifts over Kirk Hill at St. Abb's Head in the Borders. Continuing rarities included a Black-winged Kite still at Hickling Broad NWT in Norfolk, a Ferruginous Duck still at Draycote Water in Warwickshire, a Marsh Sandpiper still at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, a Western Sandpiper still in the harbour at Maidens in Ayrshire, a Baird's Sandpiper still at Myroe Levels in County Derry, a White-rumped Sandpiper still at Carrahane Strand in County Kerry, another White-rumped Sandpiper still at Tacumshin in County Wexford, a Lesser Yellowlegs still at Kidwelly Quay in Carmarthenshire, a Bonaparte's Gull again at Kinnegar Shore in County Down, a Black Kite again at Drift Reservoir in Cornwall, a Baird's Sandpiper still at Siblyback Lake in Cornwall, and a Greenish Warbler still at Ulrome in East Yorkshire. |

New rarities of the day were a Baird's Sandpiper at Myroe Levels in County Derry, a Great Snipe on Fair Isle, a Greenish Warbler trapped and ringed on Fair Isle, a Black-headed Bunting on Bryher, and Fea's Petrels at Porthgwarra in Cornwall, off Pendeen Watch in Cornwall and off Whitburn Coastal Park in County Durham. Continuing rarities included a Black-winged Kite still at Hickling Broad in Norfolk, a Ferruginous Duck still at Filby Broad in Norfolk, a White-rumped Sandpiper still at Tacumshin in County Wexford, a Baird's Sandpiper still at Siblyback Lake in Cornwall, a Marsh Sandpiper still at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, and a Black Kite still at Drift Reservoir in Cornwall. |

New discoveries today included a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Millbrook, Cornwall, a Citrine Wagtail at Lerwick, Shetland, single Greenish Warblers at Rattray Head, Aberdeenshire and on North Ronaldsay, Orkney and the Black Duck returned to Cross Lough, County Mayo.
Lingering rarities included the Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Greenish Warbler in Yorkshire, Marsh Sandpiper in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in Carmarthenshire, Baird's Sandpipers in Cornwall, County Mayo and Western Isles, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire and Black Kite in Cornwall. |

New discoveries today included a Booted Warbler in Dorset, Western Bonelli's Warbler in Norfolk, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Orkney, Greenish Warblers in Yorkshire and Shetland, Squacco Heron in Cambridgeshire, Pacific Golden Plover in Yorkshire and Pallid Swift in Borders.
Lingering rarities included the Black-winged Kite and Pacific Golden Plover in Norfolk, three Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, two Greenish Warblers in Yorkshire, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Marsh Sandpiper in Lothian, Baird's Sandpipers in Cornwall and Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in Carmarthenshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Black Kite in Cornwall and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo. |

New rarities of the day were a Baird's Sandpiper on St. Kilda in the Western Isles, a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Tramore in County Waterford, a Lesser Scaup at Gailey Reservoir in Staffordshire, a Barolo Shearwater at Pendeen Watch in Cornwall, a Pallid Swift over Walberswick in Suffolk, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler trapped and ringed on Bardsey Island in Gwynedd.
Late news included a Black Kite over St. Buryan in Cornwall on Monday, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Kinnegar Shore in County Down yesterday. Continuing rarities included a singing Zitting Cisticola near Walberswick in Suffolk, a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Ballycotton in County Cork, White-winged Scoters at Lunan Bay in Angus, a Western Sandpiper at Maidens in Ayrshire, a White-rumped Sandpiper at East Chevington in Northumberland, a Baird's Sandpiper at Loch Paible in the Western Isles, a Lesser Scaup at Belvide Reservoir in Staffordshire, and an Eastern Subalpine Warbler on Fair Isle in Shetland. |

In Cornwall, a Band-rumped Petrel species reportedly flew past Coverack, whilst a Fea's Petrel species flew past Portland Bill in Dorset. Also in Dorset, an Aquatic Warbler was trapped at Wareham. Further north, a Black-winged Pratincole was at Loch Calder, Highland and a Wilson's Phalarope was on the Ythan Estuary, Aberdeenshire, with a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Ballycotton, County Cork, a Baird's Sandpiper at Annagh Beach, County Mayo.
Lingering rarities included Zitting Cisticola and Black Stork in Suffolk, Greenish Warbler in County Donegal, Stilt Sandpiper in County Wicklow, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wexford and Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in Carmarthenshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Wexford and Northumberland, Laughing Gull in County Kerry, two Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and Black Kite in Cornwall. |
