  New rarities included a second Lesser Scaup joining the first at Belvide Reservoir, Staffordshire.

Continuing rarities included a White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, a Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Bonaparte’s Gull in Kent, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Wednesday 23rd July 2025  
  Headline news came from Staffordshire, where a Lesser Scaup was discovered at Belvide Reservoir.

Another notable arrival was an adult Long-billed Dowitcher at Tacumshin, County Wexford.

Continuing highlights included the mobile Black Stork around Hollesley, Boyton and Orford Ness Suffolk, White-rumped Sandpipers at Tacumshin, Co.Wexford and Spurn, E.Yorks, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Tuesday 22nd July 2025  
  Headline news came from Suffolk, where a Black Stork flew over Hollesley towards Boyton mid morning.

Other new arrivals included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Tacumshin, County Wexford, and a Caspian Tern at Hartleton, Herefordshire, which was later seen in Gloucestershire.

Continuing rarities included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Spurn, East Yorkshire, Baird's Sandpiper on Unst, Shetland, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Laughing Gull in County Kerry, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Monday 21st July 2025  
  A Baird's Sandpiper was found at Baltasound, Unst, Shetland today, and a Fea's Petrel species flew past Pendeen, Cornwall.

Lingering rarities included the Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Sunday 20th July 2025  
  The day's highlights included a Fea’s Petrel at Lizard Point, Cornwall, late morning, and a White-rumped Sandpiper on the Humber off The Warren at Spurn, East Yorkshire.

Continuing birds included a Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Laughing Gull in County Kerry, Bonaparte’s Gull in Kent, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire, a Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, and a White-winged Scoter off Musselburgh, Lothian.

Saturday 19th July 2025  
  The day's highlight was a brief appearance by a Caspian Tern at Severn Beach in Gloucestershire, seen from Orchard Pool before flying off.

Continuing birds included a Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Laughing Gull in County Kerry, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, a White-winged Scoter off Musselburgh (Lothian), and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Friday 18th July 2025  
  The day's standout bird was a Black Stork seen circling east of Ogston Reservoir, Derbyshire.

Continuing highlights included a White-rumped Sandpiper and White-winged Scoter off Musselburgh (Lothian), a Laughing Gull in County Kerry, Bonaparte’s Gulls in Kent, a Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, a Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Thursday 17th July 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Laughing Gull in County Kerry at Trabeg.

Elsewhere, continuing rarities comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, White-winged Scoter still in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Wednesday 16th July 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of the fourth Pacific Golden Plover of the autumn; in Norfolk at Warham Greens.

Elsewhere, continuing rarities comprised the Western Sandpiper still in Ayrshire, White-winged Scoter and White-rumped Sandpiper still together in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, and Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester.

Tuesday 15th July 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black-winged Pratincole in the Western Isles at Hougharry, North Uist, whilst in Lothian a White-rumped Sandpiper was new at Musselburgh Lagoons.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Caspian Tern in Northumberland, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Significant late news concerned a Scopoli's Shearwater yesterday in Cornwall passing Porthgwarra, whilst on 9th July a Slate-coloured Junco was at Ely, Cambridgeshire.
