| A major surprise today was a Paddyfield Warbler trapped +ringed at a private site in Staffordshire. Other new rarities found were a Pacific Diver off Gleninagh Quay in County Clare and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Rye Harbour in Sussex.
The Greater Sandplover continued to delight observers in Northumberland, while elsewhere lingering rarities included the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire, Caspian Tern in Cleveland, Least Tern in County Dublin, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and Lesser Yellowlegs in both Nottinghamshire and Fife. |

| New rarities consisted of a Caspian Tern at Seaton Sands in Cleveland, Scopoli's Shearwater near Bishop Rock, Scilly, and White-rumped Sandpiper at Dungeness RSPB in Kent.
Lingering rarities included the Semipalmated Sandpiper and White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, Least Tern in County Dublin, Greater Sand Plover in Northumberland, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in Nottinghamshire and Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| Two Scopoli's Shearwaters were found SE of St.Mary's, Scilly.
Lingering rarities included the Greater Sand Plover in Northumberland, Semipalmated Sandpiper and White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Fife, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Spotted Sandpiper in Somerset and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| A Spotted Sandpiper was found at Cheddar Reservoir, Somerset and a Red-footed Falcon was at Seasalter, Kent.
Lingering rarities included the Greater Sand Plover in Northumberland, Semipalmated Sandpiper and three White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Fife, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, American Black Tern in Northumberland and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| New rarities consisted of a Greater Sand Plover at Beacon Point in Northumberland, Black Kite also in Northumberland at Grindon Lough, and Lesser Yellowlegs at St Andrews in Fife.

| Three White-rumped Sandpipers at Snettisham, Norfolk were joined by a Semipalmated Sandpiper this evening.
Lingering rarities included the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Least Tern in County Dublin, Lesser Scaup in Perth and Kinross, Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

||
| An Alpine Swift flew over Pett Level, Sussex.
Lingering rarities included the Lesser Yellowlegs in Nottinghamshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire. The White-winged Scoter reported off St Cyrus, Aberdeenshire yesterday is now thought to be a hybrid. |

| A Ferruginous Duck was found in Buckinghamshire at Willen Lake, and the White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire was relocated off St Cyrus.

| New rarities consisted of two Black-winged Stilts at Burwell Fen in Cambridgeshire, Caspian Tern at Winterton in Norfolk, and White-rumped Sandpiper at Ring Marsh in County Wexford.
Lingering rarities today included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Red-footed Falcon in Cumbria, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| New discoveries today included a Black-headed Bunting at Rackwick, Orkney, Black-winged Pratincole at Low Barns DWT, County Durham, White-rumped Sandpiper at Tacumshin, County Wexford and a Red-rumped Swallow at Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire.
Lingering rarities still present included the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in both Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |
