  Rarities today comprised Baikal Teal and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Red-breasted Geese still in Essex, Norfolk, and Northumberland, Pallid Harriers in both Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher still in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon (five together) and Pembrokeshire, and Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk (2), Nottinghamshire, and Warwickshire.

Monday 29th January 2024  
  Rarities today comprised Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier both still in Norfolk, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, White-billed Diver on the Shetland Isles, and Lesser Scaups in Clyde, County Sligo, and the Western Isles.

Significant late news form yesterday concerned the Penduline Tit still in County Cork at Lough Beg.

Sunday 28th January 2024  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black Scoter in Norfolk in Holkham Bay whilst both Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier remained nearby.

Elsewhere rarities comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, Pallid Harrier between Carmarthenshire and Glamorgan, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, King Eider in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in both Lincolnshire and County Louth, and Ferruginous Ducks in Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.

Saturday 27th January 2024  
  A Cackling Goose was found in County Clare at Doonbeg, a Ferruginous Ducks in both Cambridgeshire at Fen Drayton Lakes, and Warwickshire at Warwick Racecourse, and a new King Eider in Lothian at Port Seton.

Lingering rarities still present included a Long-billed Dowitcher in Sussex, Canvasback in Essex, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk, Carmarthenshire/Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Lesser Scaup in Pembrokeshire and Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland.

Friday 26th January 2024  
  A Cackling Goose was found in County Clare near Kilkee.

Lingering rarities still present included a Long-billed Dowitcher in Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk, Carmarthenshire/Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon (five) and Pembrokeshire and Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland.

Thursday 25th January 2024  
  The star find this afternoon was a White-billed Diver in Essex at Southend-on-Sea.

Continuing rarities today comprised the Pallid Harrier and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, Red-breasted Geese in Lancashire and Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, and both Kentish Plover and five Lesser Scaup in Somerset.

Wednesday 24th January 2024  
  Rarities today comprised both the White-winged Scoter and Pied-billed Grebe still together in County Galway, Pallid Harrier, Red-breasted Goose, and two Ferruginous Ducks all still in Norfolk, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, and both Kentish Plover and Lesser Scaup in Somerset.

  Rarities today comprised the Red-breasted Goose still in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon (5), Somerset, and Pembrokeshire, and three Ferruginous Ducks in both Norfolk (2) and London.

  Rarities today comprised the Northern Waterthrush still in Essex, Red-breasted Goose still in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, five Lesser Scaups together in Devon, Pallid Harriers in Carmarthenshire/Glamorgan and Norfolk, and Ferruginous Ducks in both Hampshire and London.

Sunday 21st January 2024  
  Discoveries today included a King Eider in Lothian at Cockenzie, and a Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall at Maer Lake.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Northern Waterthrush in Essex, Black-throated Thrush and Lesser Yellowlegs both in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gulls in County Antrim and Highland, Lesser Scaups in Devon and Pembrokeshire, and Ferruginous Ducks in both Hampshire and London.
