  Lingering rarities still present today included the Canvasback in Essex, Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Carmarthenshire and six Lesser Scaups in Devon.

  The highlight of the day was the discovery of an American Robin in Highland briefly in Caithness.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were Canvasback and Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Black-throated Thrush in East Yorkshire, Pallid Harrier between Carmarthenshire and Glamorgan, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Suffolk, and East Yorkshire, and Lesser Scaups in Devon (5), Nottinghamshire, Pembrokeshire, Somerset, Western Isles, and County Waterford.

Tuesday 19th December 2023  
  Lingering rarities still present today included the Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, single Pallid Harriers in Glamorgan and Norfolk, single Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire and Lesser Scaup in Pembrokeshire.

Significant late news from 5th December concerned a Slate-coloured Junco in a garden at Arklow, County Wicklow.

Monday 18th December 2023  
  Rarities today comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, Northern Harrier still in County Wexford, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose, Pallid Harrier and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, and Lesser Scaups in Devon (5) and Pembrokeshire.

Sunday 17th December 2023  
  A Ferruginous Duck was found at Thorpe Park, Surrey.

Lingering rarities still present included the Canvasback in Essex, Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Pallid Harriers in Glamorgan, Carmarthenshire and Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Sussex, two Lesser Scaup in Pembrokshire and Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk and Northumberland.

Saturday 16th December 2023  
 

New discoveries today comprised of a Lesser Scaup at Penberry Resr in Pembrokeshire, and a Cackling Goose at Dunfanaghy New Lake in County Donegal.

Lingering rarities present included the Black-throated Thrush in East Yorkshire, three Red-breasted Geese, Canvasback in Essex Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in Somerset and Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.

Friday 15th December 2023  
 

Lingering rarities present included the Red-breasted Goose in Yellow-browed Warbler, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in County Waterford and Pembrokeshire, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk, Carmarthenshire, and Glamorgan.

  A Bonaparte's Gull was found at Blennerville, County Kerry.

Lingering rarities present included the Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in County Waterford, Ferruginous Duck in Gloucestershire, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.

  Rarities today comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler still in Devon, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, and Lesser Scaup in Clyde.

  Rarities today comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler in Devon, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon (5) and Somerset, Ferruginous Duck in Gloucestershire, and two White-billed Divers together on the Shetland Isles.
