Lingering rarities seen today included the Cape May Warbler in Scilly, Hume's Warbler in Shetland, Canvasback in Essex, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs' in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire and Pallid Swift and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk. |

| Lingering rarities today included the Cape May Warbler in Scilly, Red-headed Bunting in Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler in Shetland, Canvasback in Essex, Pallid Swift in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs' in Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and Norfolk, Lesser Scaup in Devon and two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Argyll. | ||

| Mega rarities today were the Red-headed Bunting still in East Yorkshire at Flamborough Head and the Canvasback still in Essex at Abberton Reservoir.
Lingering rarities elsewhere comprised Pallid Harrier, Pallid Swift, and Long-billed Dowitcher all in Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Lesser Scaup on the Western Isles, and Lesser Yellowlegs in both Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. |

| In Cornwall, a Brown Booby was at Jubilee Pool, Penzance briefly before it flew off. An Eastern Stonechat species was at Collessie, Fife, briefly.
Lingering rarities still present included the Canvasback in Essex, Bufflehead in County Antrim, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, Lesser Scaups in Cornwall, Clyde, County Antrim and County Donegal, Lesser Yellowlegs' in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Pallid Harrier and Pallid Swift in Norfolk and Hume's Warbler in Shetland. |

| New discoveries today included an Olive-backed Pipit over Strathaven, Clyde and a Ferruginous Duck at Langtoft, Lincolnshire.

| New discoveries today included a Penduline Tit at Elmley NNR, Kent and a White-billed Diver at Skaw, Whalsay, Shetland.
Lingering rarities still present included the Canvasback in Essex, Cape May Warbler in Scilly, Red-headed Bunting in Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler in Shetland, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Pallid Harrier, Pallid Swift, Long-billed Dowitcher and Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, another of the latter in Northumberland, Bufflehead in County Antrim, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, King Eider in Western Isles, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire and single Lesser Yellowlegs' in Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. |

| Five White-billed Divers on Orkney flew past Papa Westray, and in England a Spotted Sandpiper was found in Cornwall at Looe.
Lingering rarities included the Hume's Warbler on Shetland, Cape May Warbler in Scilly, Canvasback in Essex, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Bufflehead in County Antrim, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, East Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire and Pallid Harrier and Pallid Swift still in Norfolk. |

| A Hume's Warbler was discovered on Fetlar, Shetland, also on Shetland, an Olive-backed Pipit was found at Mulla on the Mainland.

| An American Robin was discovered on Dursey Island, County Cork late morning, the first record for Ireland since 1983.

| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Canvasback in Essex at Abberton Reservoir, whilst lingering rarities elsewhere comprised the Bufflehead still in County Antrim, Red-breasted Goose, Pallid Swift, and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, King Eider on the Western Isles, Lesser Scaup in County Donegal, and Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire.
Discoveries today included a Lesser Scaup on the Western Isles on South Uist and a Coues's Arctic Redpoll on the Shetland Isles on Whalsay. Significant late news concernes a Rose-breasted Grosbeak present yesterday near Skibbereen, County Cork. |
