Monday 13th February 2023  
  A Brunnich's Guillemot was in Yell Sound, Shetland today, where it showed very well from a boat. Further south, a first-winter Ross's Gull spent late afternoon on water meadows north of Dorchester, Dorset.

Lingering rarities included the Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, two Hume's Warblers in Kent, White-winged Scoters in Lothian and County Mayo, Hooded Merganser also in County Mayo, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, King Eider in Cleveland, three Ferruginous Ducks, Long-billed Dowitcher and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim and Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Great Grey Shrike, two Richard's Pipits, two Little Buntings, 11 Shorelarks, 21 Waxwings, four Glossy Ibises, two Green-winged Teal, six Surf Scoters, 13 Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, four Tundra Bean Geese, 12 Taiga Bean Geese, two Ring-billed Gulls, four Glaucous Gulls and 19 Iceland Gulls.

Sunday 12th February 2023  
 

Rarities today comprised the Harlequin Duck still on the Western Isles, White-winged Scoters in both Lothian and County Mayo, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, Hooded Merganser and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Red-breasted Goose in Argyll, Hume's Warblers in Kent (2) and Somerset, Pallid Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher, and three Ferruginous Ducks all in Norfolk, King Eider in Cleveland, two Penduline Tits together in East Sussex, Richardson's Cackling Geese in Argyll, County Mayo, and Norfolk, and Lesser Scaups in Somerset, Surrey, and the Western Isles.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (County Durham), Ring-billed Gull (County Louth), Yellow-browed Warbler (Lancashire), Lapland Bunting (Lincolnshire), two each of Richard's Pipit, Surf Scoter, Snow Goose, Great Grey Shrike, Green-winged Teal, and Glossy Ibis, three American Wigeons, 12 Shorelarks, 19 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 47 Waxwings.

Saturday 11th February 2023  
  A new Hume's Warbler was discovered in Kent today, at Enbrook Park, Folkestone.

Lingering rarities still present included the Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, Hume's Warbler in Somerset, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, Hooded Merganser in County Mayo, Lesser Scaups in Surrey and Somerset, King Eider in Cleveland, three Ferruginous Ducks, Richardson's Cackling Goose, Long-billed Dowitcher and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Richard's Pipit, a Great Grey Shrike, two Little Buntings, two Lapland Buntings, five Shorelarks, 25 Waxwings, a Rough-legged Buzzard, six Glossy Ibises, three American Wigeon, three Green-winged Teal, four Surf Scoters, 21 Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, eight Tundra Bean Geese, 12 Taiga Bean Geese, three Ring-billed Gulls, three Kumlien's Gulls, ten Glaucous Gulls and 26 Iceland Gulls.

Friday 10th February 2023  
  Lingering rarities still present today included the Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, White-winged Scoter, Hooded Merganser and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, King Eider in Lothian, two Ferruginous Ducks, Long-billed Dowitcher and a Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Lesser Scaup and Hume's Warbler in Somerset, Hume's Warbler in Kent, Red-breasted Goose and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford and two Penduline Tits in Sussex.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Great Grey Shrike, a Shorelark, a Yellow-browed Warbler, two Lapland Buntings, 42 Waxwings, a Glossy Ibis, two Surf Scoters, two American Wigeon, three Green-winged Teal, nine Ring-necked Ducks, a Snow Goose, a Black Brant, eight Tundra Bean Geese, four Ring-billed Gulls, four Glaucous Gulls and 15 Iceland Gulls.

Rarities today comprised the White-winged Scoter still in County Mayo, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, Pallid Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher, and two Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler in Somerset, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, and King Eiders in both Cleveland and Lothian.

Scarcities included Sabine's Gull and Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), Yellow-browed Warbler (Lancashire), Black Brant (Essex), two each of both Pallas's Warbler and American Wigeon, three of Surf Scoter and Green-winged Teal, four Ring-billed Gulls, six Glossy Ibises, nine of Ring-necked Duck and Shorelark, and a total of 52 Waxwings.

Rarities today comprised the Double-crested Cormorant still in County Leitrim, Greater Yellowlegs stil in County Waterford, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, Hume's Warblers in both Kent and Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, and Ferruginous Duck in County Tyrone.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (County Durham), Little Bunting (Cornwall), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Ring-billed Gull (County Kerry), Sabine's Gull and Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), Yellow-browed Warbler (Lancashire), Snow Goose (County Offaly), Black Brant (East Yorkshire), two each of American Wigeon, Surf Scoter, and Green-winged Teal, eight Ring-necked Ducks, nine Shorelarks, and a total of 57 Waxwings.

Rarities today comprised White-winged Scoter, Richardson's Cackling Goose, and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull all in County Mayo, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, Pallid Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher, and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler in Somerset, and Lesser Scaups in both Surrey and the Western Isles.

Scarcities included Little Bunting and Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Sabine's Gull and Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), Snow Goose (County Mayo), Yellow-browed Warbler (Lancashire), Glossy Ibis (Devon), two each of Pallas's Warbler, Ring-billed Gull, American Wigeon, and Black Brant, four Green-winged Teals, five Surf Scoters, 11 Shorelarks, 13 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 45 Waxwings.

Monday 6th February 2023  
 

Rarities today comprised the White-winged Scoter, Hooded Merganser, and Richardson's Cackling Goose all still in County Mayo, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, American Herring Gull reported again in County Cork, both Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Hume's Warblers in both Kent and Somerset, King Eider in Cleveland, and Lesser Scaups in Somerset and Surrey.

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), two each of Pallas's Warbler, Yellow-browed Warbler, Green-winged Teal, and Glossy Ibis, three of Surf Scoter and American Wigeon, seven Ring-necked Ducks, 14 Shorelarks, and a total of 38 Waxwings.

The highlight of the day was the discovery of a male Baikal Teal in Gwynedd at Foryd Bay.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Double-crested Cormorant still in County Leitrim, both White-winged Scoter and Hooded Merganser in County Mayo, Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher, Richardson's Cackling Goose, and three Ferruginous Ducks all in Norfolk, Hume's Warblers in both Kent and Somerset, Kentish Plover in Somerset, King Eiders in Cleveland and Lothian, Lesser Scaups in Somerset, Surrey, and the Western Isles, and in Fife the Pacific Diver was reported again.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (County Durham), Little Bunting and Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Sabine's Gull and Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), Yellow-browed Warbler (Lancashire), two Glossy Ibises, three of both Surf Scoter and American Wigeon, four Green-winged Teals, five Ring-billed Gulls, eight Waxwings, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 18 Shorelarks.

  Lingering birds still present today included the Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, Hume's Warbler, Kentish Plover and Lesser Scaup in Somerset, Hume's Warbler in Kent, Pacific Diver in Fife, White-winged Scoter and Black Duck in County Mayo, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Lesser Scaup in Surrey, King Eider in Cleveland, Long-billed Dowitcher, Pallid Harrier, Richardson's Cackling Goose and three Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk, Ferruginous Duck in County Tyrone and Forster's Tern in County Galway.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Richard's Pipit, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Great Grey Shrike, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Lapland Bunting, two Little Buntings, 13 Shorelarks, 36 Waxwings, four Glossy Ibises, a Surf Scoter, four American Wigeon, a Green-winged Teal, 15 Ring-necked Ducks, two Taiga Bean Geese, 14 Tundra Bean Geese, two Black Brants, a Sabine's Gull, a Ring-billed Gull, six Glaucous Gulls and 25 Iceland Gulls.
