New discoveries today included a Black Kite at Almer, Devon and a Ferruginous Duck near Penkridge, Staffordshire.

Rarities today comprised the Isabelline Wheatear in Devon, Pallid Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher, and Hume's Warbler all in Norfolk, King Eider in Cleveland, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, and Dusky Warbler in Wiltshire.

Scarcities included three Ring-billed Gulls, Snow Goose, 71 Taiga Bean Geese, five Tundra Bean Geese, Todd's Canada Goose, Yellow-browed Warbler, two Lapland Buntings, six Glossy Ibises, Surf Scoter, Grey Phalarope, Glaucous Gull, two Ring-necked Ducks, Great Grey Shrike, four Iceland Gulls, American Wigeon, 10 Waxwings, and a total of 14 Shorelarks.

Sunday 25th December 2022  
 

Rarities today comprised the Isabelline Wheatear still in Devon, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher both still in Norfolk, King Eider in Cleveland, Lesser Scaup in Fife, and a Richardson's Cackling Goose new in Northumberland at Fenham-le-Moor.

Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (County Louth), Snow Goose (Forth), Black Brant (Suffolk), two Lapland Buntings, three Glossy Ibises, four Ring-necked Ducks, five Waxwings, and a total of 16 Shorelarks.

Saturday 24th December 2022  
 

Rarities today comprised the Greater Yellowlegs still in County Waterford, Isabelline Wheatear still in Devon, Pallid Harrier, Hume's Warbler, and Long-billed Dowitcher all in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler in Kent, King Eider in Cleveland, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Lesser Scaup in Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, and Dusky Warblers in both Cornwall and Wiltshire.

Scarcities included Richard's Pipit (Cornwall), Rose-coloured Starling (Somerset), Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), Black Brant (Norfolk), two each of American Wigeon, Snow Goose, Yellow-browed Wabler, and Lapland Bunting, seven Ring-necked Ducks, 12 Glossy Ibises, and a total of 22 Waxwings.

Rarities today comprised the Greater Yellowlegs still in County Waterford, Isabelline Wheatear still in Devon, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, King Eider in Cleveland, and Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim.

Scarcities included Rough-legged Buzzard and Green-winged Teal (Highland), Rose-coloured Starling (Somerset), American Wigeon (Northumberland), two each of both Ring-billed Gull and Glossy Ibis, six Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 20 Waxwings.

Thursday 22nd December 2022  
  New discoveries today included a Lesser Scaup at Lough Arrow, County Sligo and a Cackling Goose at Belturbot, County Cavan.

Lingering rarities seen today included the White-throated Sparrow in Cheshire, Isabelline Wheatear in Devon, Hume's Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, King Eider in Cleveland and Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire.

Scarcity highlights were a Great Grey Shrike, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Yellow-browed Warbler, 15 Shorelarks, 35 Waxwings, two Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teals, four Ring-necked Ducks, a Snow Goose, a Todd's Canada Goose, six Tundra Bean Geese, a Little Auk, a Pomarine Skua, an Iceland Gull and two Glaucous Gulls.

Wednesday 21st December 2022  
  A Snowy Owl was photographed at Loch Kishorn in Highland, meanwhile the Isabelline Wheatear discovered in Devon yesterday remained at Colyford.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Dusky Warbler at Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, Pallid Harrier at Warham Greens, Norfolk, Hume's Warbler at Brancaster, Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher at Titchwell, Norfolk, Hooded Merganser at Rosduane, County Mayo, Greater Yellowlegs at Lismore, County Waterford, Cackling Goose at Carrabus, Argyll, King Eider at Redcar, Cleveland, and Hume's Warbler at Dover, Kent.

Scarcity highlights included 11 Shorelarks, 64 Waxwings, 10 Glossy Ibises, three Green-winged Teal, two American Wigeon, three Ring-necked Ducks, 17 Tundra Bean Geese, two Taiga Bean Geese, a Grey Phalarope, a Great Grey Shrike, a Richard's Pipit, a Little Auk, a Pomarine Skua, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Black Brant, a Yellow-browed Warbler, an Iceland Gull, a Glaucous Gull, and a Snow Goose.

  Rarities discovered today comprised of an Isabelline Wheatear in Colyford, Devon, an Eastern Yellow Wagtail at Carlton Marshes, Suffolk, and a Hume's Warbler in Dover, Kent.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Stejneger's Scoter in Aberlady Bay, Lothian, Pallid Harrier at Warham Greens, Norfolk, two Ferruginous Ducks on Ormesby Broad, Norfolk, Hume's Warbler at Brancaster, Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher at Titchwell, Norfolk, Olive-backed Pipit in Exmouth, Devon, Dusky Warbler at Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, Greater Yellowlegs at Lismore, County Waterford, Bonaparte's Gull at Larne, County Antrim, and Lesser Scaup at Kinghorn, Fife.

Scarcity highlights included 17 Shorelarks, 124 Waxwings, a Rough-legged Buzzard, 10 Glossy Ibises, five Green-winged Teal, three American Wigeon, six Ring-necked Ducks, 18 Tundra Bean Geese, a Lady Amherst's Pheasant, a Grey Phalarope, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Iceland Gulls and two Glaucous Gulls.

  Lingering rarities seen today included the White-throated Sparrow in Northwich, Cheshire, Olive-backed Pipit in Exmouth, Devon, Dusky Warbler in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, Greater Yellowlegs at Lismore, County Waterford, Lesser Scaup at Kinghorn, Fife, King Eider at Redcar, Cleveland and Richardson's Cackling Goose at Campbeltown, Argyll.

Scarcity highlights included nine Shorelarks, 129 Waxwings, three Rough-legged Buzzards, four Glossy Ibises, a Green-winged Teal, three American Wigeon, four Ring-necked Ducks, a Tundra Bean Goose, 70 Taiga Bean Geese, a Todd's Canada Goose, eight Little Auks, a Pomarine Skua, a Ring-billed Gull and a Glaucous Gull.

  Lingering rarities seen today included the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Hume's Warbler, Pallid Harrier and at least three Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk, Olive-backed Pipit in Devon, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Lesser Scaup in Fife and King Eider in Cleveland.

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, three Lapland Buntings, 11 Shorelarks, a Dotterel, three Glossy Ibises, three Green-winged Teal, three American Wigeon, 154 Waxwings, seven Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, two Tundra Bean Geese, two Little Auks, a Pomarine Skua, a Ring-billed Gull, two Glaucous Gulls and six Iceland Gulls.

Saturday 17th December 2022  
  In Forth, a Black-throated Thrush is present in a Dunblane garden for its second day, and a Pacific Diver was reported from Gerrans Bay, Cornwall.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Olive-backed Pipit in Devon, two Penduline Tits in Kent, Hume's Warbler, Pallid Harrier and three Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk, Dusky Warbler in Wiltshire, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Lesser Scaup in Fife, King Eiders in Cleveland and Shetland and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll.

Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, two Yellow-browed Warblers, eight Lapland Buntings, 11 Shorelarks, 155 Waxwings, a Glossy Ibis, two Green-winged Teal, two Surf Scoters, three American Wigeon, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, two Tundra Bean Geese, two Snow Geese, a Todd's Canada Goose, a Black Brant, nine Little Auks, a Ring-billed Gull, three Glaucous Gulls and five Iceland Gulls.
