Lingering rarities still present included the Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Baikal Teal in Somerset, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Dusky Warblers in Kent and North Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Richardson’s Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Penduline Tit in Somerset, Lesser Scaup in County Cork and Dorset and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford. Scarcities included Pallas’s Warbler, Little Bunting, Rose-coloured Starling, 2 Surf Scoters, Yellow-browed Warbler, 12 Ring-necked Ducks, 6 Green-winged Teals, 2 Grey Phalaropes, Black Brant, 3 Ring-billed Gulls, 2 Lapland Buntings, 7 Shorelarks and 11 Glossy Ibises. |
