| Lingering rarities seen today included the Squacco Heron at Kilnsea, Yorkshire, Pacific Golden Plover at Gwithian then Hayle, Cornwall, Black-headed Bunting at Norwick, Shetland, Iberian Chiffchaff at Thurstaston, Wirral and single Bonaparte's Gulls at Cross Ness, London and Oare, Kent.
Scarcity highlights included a Montagu's Harrier, two Rose-coloured Starlings, two Red-backed Shrikes, two Glossy Ibises, two Glaucous Gulls, four Honey Buzzards and four Pomarine Skuas. |
