| Lingering rarities comprised Hume's Warbler and two
Coues's Arctic Redpolls (Norfolk), Snowy Owl (Isles of
Scilly), Desert Wheatear (North Yorkshire), Penduline
Tit (Gloucestershire) and King Eider (Co Kerry),
whilst a Lesser Yellowlegs reappeared at Lodmoor RSPB (Dorset). The best of the rest included Temminck's Stint (West Sussex), Lapland Bunting (Cleveland), two Ring-necked Ducks, three each of Richard's Pipit, Glossy Ibis and Yellow-browed Warbler, four American Wigeon, six Surf Scoters, 12 Waxwings, 25 Shorelarks, and at least 32 Parrot Crossbills. |
