  Rarity highlights included Coues's Arctic Redpoll and Pine Bunting in Dunnington (North Yorkshire), Blue Rock Thrush (Gloucestershire), Hume's Warbler and Lesser Yellowlegs (Dorset), Desert Wheatear (Devon), Lesser Scaup (Cornwall), Pallid Harrier (East Yorkshire), Black Duck (Highland), Black Scoter and Pacific Diver (Northumberland), Northern Harrier (Orkney) and Ferruginous Duck (or hybrid) (Norfolk).

The best of the rest included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Little Bunting (Bedfordshire),  two Rose-coloured Starlings and three Yellow-browed Warblers.

  Lingering rarities comprised Blue Rock Thrush (Gloucestershire), Pine Bunting (North Yorkshire), Pacific Diver (Northumberland), Pallid Harrier (East Yorkshire), Hume's Warbler (Dorset), Desert Wheatear (Devon), Lesser Scaup (Cornwall), King Eiders (Co Sligo and Co Kerry), Bonaparte's Gull (Clyde) and Eastern Black Redstart (Cleveland).

The best of the rest included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Serin (East Sussex), Rose-coloured Starling (West Sussex), Yellow-browed Warbler and Temminck's Stint (Staffordshire) and two Richard's Pipits (Dorset).

  Lingering rarities comprised Pine Bunting (North Yorkshire), Blue Rock Thrush (Gloucestershire), Black Duck (Highland), Northern Harrier (Orkney), Desert Wheatear (Devon), Eastern Black Redstart (Cleveland), Hooded Merganser (Clyde) and Killdeer (Shetland).

The best of the rest included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), two Richard's Pipits (Dorset) and four Yellow-browed Warblers.

Wednesday 22nd February 2017  
  Lingering rarities today included the Pine Bunting in Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler in Dorset, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Pacific Divers in Cornwall and Northumberland and Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall.

Scarcity totals included a Bluethroat, a Serin, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Pomarine Skua, a Little Auk, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Richard's Pipits, two American Wigeon, three Green-winged Teal, three Ring-necked Ducks, three Kumlien's Gulls, five Ring-billed Gulls and eight Great Grey Shrikes.

  Lingering rarities still present today included the Blue Rock Thrush in Gloucestershire, Pine Bunting in Yorkshire, Pacific Divers in Northumberland and Cornwall, Killdeer in Shetland, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, Red-flanked Bluetail in Glamorgan, Hume's Warbler in Dorset, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Black Duck in Highland and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire.

Scarcity highlights included a Bluethroat, a Little Bunting, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Temminck's Stint, two Richard's Pipits, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Lapland Buntings, two Rough-legged Buzzards, two Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, a Green-winged Teal and three Ring-necked Ducks.

  Rarities today comprised the Blue Rock Thrush still in Gloucestershire, Pine Buntings in both Kent and North Yorkshire, Red-flanked Bluetail in Glamorgan, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Hume's Warbler on Dorset, Northern Harrier on the Orkney Isles, Pacific Divers in both Cornwall and Northumberland, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, Black Scoter in County Kerry, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll and Bonaparte's Gulls in both Clyde and County Cork.

Scarcities included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Rose-coloured Starling (West Sussex), Little Bunting (Bedfordshire), Rough-legged Buzzard (Cambridgeshire), Surf Scoter (Conwy), Lesser Snow Goose (Lancashire), two Ring-necked Ducks, three each of Yellow-browed Warbler and Glossy Ibis, four American Wigeons, six each of Ring-billed Gull and Lapland Bunting, eight Great Grey Shrikes, 32 Cattle Egrets, and 36 Shorelarks.

  Rarities today comprised the Blue Rock Thrush still in Gloucestershire, Pine Bunting in North Yorkshire, Pacific Diver, Desert Wheatear and Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Pacific Diver and Black Scoter in Northumberland, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Hooded Merganser and Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Clyde, Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire, Black Duck in Highland, Red-flanked Bluetail in Glamorgan, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Hume's Warbler and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, King Eider in County Kerry and Red-breasted Goose in Lancashire.

Scarcities included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Serin (East Sussex), Rose-coloured Starling (West Sussex), two Rough-legged Buzzards, three each of both Little Bunting and Richard's Pipit, four each of Ring-billed Gull and Glossy Ibis, five American Wigeons, six Ring-necked Ducks, eight Great Grey Shrikes, 13 Lapland Buntings, 35 Shorelarks, 46 Cattle Egrets and 109 Tundra Bean Geese.

Thursday 16th February 2017  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of the first Pacific Diver for Devon in Tor Bay off Broadsands and present until dusk; the fourth individual seen between Britain and Ireland this winter.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Blue Rock Thrush in Wiltshire, Pacific Diver in Northumberland, Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Hume's Warbler in Dorset, Red-flanked Bluetail in Glamorgan, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Clyde, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Hudsonian Whimbrel and Lesser Scaup in Cornwall, Red-breasted Goose in Lancashire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, two Richardson's Cackling Geese together in Argyll, and White-billed Divers on both the Orkney Isles and the Shetland Isles.

Scarcities included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Serin (East Sussex), Ring-billed Gull (Pembrokeshire), American Wigeon (Fife) and Lesser Snow Goose (Lancashire), two each of Rose-coloured Starling, Rough-legged Buzzard, Surf Scoter and Yellow-browed Warbler, three Little Buntings, four Glossy Ibises, five Ring-necked Ducks, 10 Great Grey Shrikes, 12 Lapland Buntings, 39 Shorelarks, 44 Cattle Egrets, and a total of 121 Tundra Bean Geese.
