| Rarities today comprised the Hudsonian Whimbrel still in Cornwall, two
Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Leicestershire and Northumberland,
White-billed Diver in Highland, and a Northern Long-tailed Tit in Kent. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Hoopoe (West Midlands), Ring-necked Duck (Somerset), Suf Scoter and American Wigeon (both North Yorkshire), two each of Rough-legged Buzzard and Cattle Egret, three of both Shorelark and Great Grey Shrike, and five of Ring-billed Gull, Lapland Bunting and Glossy Ibis. |

| Rarities today comprised the Hudsonian Whimbrel, American Herring Gull
and Lesser Scaup all still in Cornwall, two Penduline Tits and the Long-billed Dowitcher in Hampshire,
King Eider in County Wexford, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan, single Ferruginous Ducks
in both County Durham and West Yorkshire, two Richardson's Cackling Geese
together in Argyll, and four Northern Long-tailed Tits together in Kent. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Hoopoe (West Midlands), Yellow-browed Warbler (Pembrokeshire), Cattle Egret (Suffolk), two each of both Richard's Pipit and Shorelark (together in Cleveland), three of American Wigeon, Rough-legged Buzzard, Ring-billed Gull and Glossy Ibis, four of Lesser Snow Goose (still together in Aberdeenshire), Surf Scoter and Ring-necked Duck, and eight each of both Great Grey Shrike and Lapland Bunting. Early migrants comprised single Sand Martins in Glamorgan and Gloucestershire, and an Osprey in Cheshire. |

| An adult Franklin's Gull was discovered in Cornwall today, at
Siblyback Lake, where the long staying Lesser Scaup was also present.
Also in Cornwall, the Hudsonian Whimbrel remained at Perranuthnoe and the American Herring Gull roosted at Mousehole, with other lingering rarities including the Glaucous-winged Gull in County Cork, two Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire, single Long-billed Dowitchers in Leicestershire and Northumberland, another American Herring Gull in the Western Isles, single Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Sligo and Argyll, King Eider in County Wexford, another Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and single Ferruginous Ducks in Yorkshire and County Durham. Scarcity highlights included singles of Pallas's Warbler, Hoopoe, Shorelark and Surf Scoter, two each of Yellow-browed Warbler, Richard's Pipit and Cattle Egret, three each of Ring-necked Duck and Glossy Ibis, four Lapland Buntings, five American Wigeons, six Green-winged Teals and eight Great Grey Shrikes. Gull totals were 29 Iceland, 14 Caspian, 11 Glaucous, seven Ring-billed and a single Kumlien's. |

||
| A group of six Northern Long-tailed Tits was reported from Bockhill
Farm, Kent.
The Black Scoter was reported from Bamburgh, Northumberland, whilst other lingering rarities included the American Herring Gull on Barra, Western Isles, two Penduline Tits at Titchfield Haven NNR, Hampshire, Long-billed Dowitcher at Rutland Water, Leicestershire, Lesser Scaup at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park, Glamorgan and Ferruginous Duck at Pugneys Country Park, Yorkshire. |

Penduline Tits together in Gloucestershire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Leicestershire, Bonaparte's Gull
in Devon, and Lesser Scaups in both Cornwall and Glamorgan. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), Hoopoe (West Midlands), Rough-legged Buzzard (Shetland Isles), Ring-necked Duck (Dumfries and Galloway), Cattle Egret (Suffolk), Yellow-browed Warbler (Devon and Pembrokeshire), American Wigeon (Aberdeenshire and Lancashire), Surf Scoter (Lothian and North Yorkshire), four Richard's Pipits and six Lapland Buntings. |
