| One observer commented that it actually looked 'darker mantled than the GBB's' which certainly rang true whilst watching it....we are getting closer to proving the 'regular' appearance of fuscus in Britain now through 'correctly moulting' 2cy birds in early-mid summer so wouldn't be too surprised if all these candidates we are often quick to dismiss at intermedius really are fuscus after all? proving it however........! |
