| Probable Lesser White-fronted Goose photographed late afternoon (at around 5pm) from the Ponteland hide at Hauxley NWT reserve, swimming across the far side of the lagoon. Lacks full development of white onto the forehead (presumed not a full adult) but otherwise appears a normal Lesser White-front. No rings seen. 1 other observer subsequently confirmed details via telescope including 1 bar seen across the belly. |
