Possible Snow Goose. On eastern bank of the River Ouse, north of Great Paxton and south of Offord Darcy with about 10 x Greylag Geese feeding on grass in large open field, but seemed to be partnering with one Greylag in particular and was also seen flying over the lakes with one Greylag. Considerably smaller than the Greylag. Not albino. Black eyes, body shape and size exactly that of a snow goose, peachy/orange bill and legs- not ringed as far I could see. Could not see the wing colours in this instance unfortunately. Please feel free to check it out to confirm either way! Thanks. |
