| Sharp-tailed sandpiper, confirmed after a re-assessment by the IRBC from a published B&W photograph taken on the 1st. July 1971! It was originally thought to be a probable pectoral sandpiper, one of many that year, as submitted by T. C. Kelly and photographed by Richard Mills. It is now the first Irish record. Better late than never! |
