Llanddulas (Conwy) | Date Added: Wed, 28 Feb 2018 | ||||||||
Iceland Gull or hybrid? This gull is currently alongside the Glaucous Gull at Llanddulas and sometimes sits with it. It is noticeably smaller than the Glauc, has a pink bill black tipped and pink legs. It has pale primaries and tail showing no black. Its plumage is blotchy. I spoke to Stewart about it on 26th and he said try to photograph it which I have done in a howling gale and snow! Please let me know what you think it is. Brian Carthy |
