After months of following and seeing this Rare Adult Iceland Gull I found earlier in the winter in Warrington,I finally got some decent record shots of it landed. I couldn't add up how much time I put into firstly getting a decent view of it,and it was always in flight so ,I could confirm it was an adult Iceland Gull months ago, to finally seeing it landed today and what a smart bird it was, especially through the scope :) This shot was Digiscoped through the Kowa Telescope using the LX7 Lumix. There is always something a little more special about a shot of a bird that was self found months ago and after putting a lot of time in to finally get what you wanted. Its getting a bit late in the year to be seeing one ,I would think the first day with decent southerly winds it will be on its way as its got a long journey to Greenland ahead of it
