Lytham Moss (Lancashire and North Merseyside) | Date Added: Mon, 24 Nov 2014 | ||||||||
After a 3 hour search this afternoon with Dennis Atherton and probably about 5 miles of walking we finally found the Great Grey Shrike at last light, where we managed a few shots. One thing I have never seen before is that this bird would fly very high into the sky and hover like a Kestrel , which is something I have never read about before, and one point it hovered for about 1 minute in the same spot. |
