21.08.2016 - Ribble Estuary on beach towards Birkdale. A brilliant bird I found yesterday on the tideline at high tide ,it came and fed on an oystercatcher left by a Peregrine. A superb little bird, and one I am not likely to see again in the county as the last one was in 1980. A very rare bird and a wonderful bird to observe and photograph, and well worth the dash after work to see.

27.02.2016 - Salford Quays- This Herring gull spent the full morning trying to get into this tennis ball for some reason .It kept flying high and dropping it to try to smash it, I think it thought it was some exotic shellfish .

Another highlight of the night visit to see the Sabine's Gull was this cracking Juvenile Mediterranean Gull kept making visits to the same area as the rarer gull .Another bonus is Pennington Flash has been my local patch for 40 years .:)

A distant shot of The Great White Egret at Woolston Eyes this afternoon, a real turn up this one My Mate Karl Bishop found it but was not quite sure ,but I confirmed it and I couldn't have timed it better ,30 seconds after I entered the tower hide it flew into the middle of the pool then flew off . . . more
