First ever record of this species for Northumberland. In the early afternoon in the shade of the dunes the upperparts appeared fairly uniformly greyish. Supercilium not always visible. Complete eye ring. Very dark legs etc. Camera: Nikon D500, Sigma 500mm F4 + 2x converter

Feeding in the high canopy of various trees, mainly favouring Sycamores, by the main road into the village, north of the Lindisfarne Hotel. Showing signs of blood staining near base of the left leg suggesting an injury but didn't seem affected by this.
