| New rarities today consisted of a Black-throated Thrush at Sumburgh in Shetland, White-rumped Sandpipers at The Gearagh in County Cork, the Ythan Estuary in Aberdeenshire and South Uist on Western Isles, a Baird's Sandpiper at Toft Newton Reservoir in Lincolnshire, Oliver-backed Pipits at Bressay in Shetland and Coll in Argyll and two Ferruginous Ducks at Filby Broad in Norfolk.
Continuing rarities today consisted of White-winged Scoter in Angus, Ross's Goose in Highland, Wilson's Snipe on Scilly, Long-billed Dowitcher on Western Isles and Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in East Yorkshire, County Donegal and Fife, Sora on Scilly, American Pipit on Scilly, Eastern Stonechat in Shetland, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler in Shetland, Western Bonelli's Warbler in Shetland, Arctic Warbler on Shetland, Radde's Warbler on Shetland, Scops Owl in Orkney and Black-winged Kite in Norfolk. |
