| The finds of the day today were a Scops Owl at Deerness in Orkney, a Lanceolated Warbler at Sumburgh in Shetland and a Black-faced Bunting at Quendale Mill in Shetland.
New rarities today consisted of a White-rumped Sandpipers at South Uist in Western Isles, Tacumshin in County Wexford and Broughty Ferry in Angus, Pallid Harriers at Unst and Lerwick on Shetland and Winter Hill in Greater Manchester/Lancashire, an Arctic Warbler and Rustic Bunting on Fair Isle in Shetland, a Red-throated Pipit on St Mary's in Scilly, a Dusky Warbler at Weymouth in Dorset, a Radde's Warbler at Tangwick in Shetland and a Fea's Petrel sp at North Ronaldsey in Orkney. Continuing rarities today consisted of White-winged Scoter in Angus, Wilson's Snipe on Scilly, Lesser Yellowlegs in East Yorkshire and Fife, Spotted Sandpiper in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher on Western Isles, Sora on Scilly, Black Stork in Suffolk, American Pipit on Scilly, Eastern Stonechat in Shetland, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler in Shetland, Western Bonelli's Warbler in Shetland, Arctic Warbler on Shetland and Black-winged Kite in Norfolk. |
