New rarities today were a Lanceolated Warbler at Fair Isle in Shetland, a Two-barred Greenish Warbler at Quendale on Shetland, Red-throated Pipits at Longstone in Scilly, a Rustic Bunting at North Ronaldsay in Orkney, a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Peninerine in the Western Isles, an Eastern Stonechat at Levenwick in Shetland, a Baird's Sandpiper at Slains Pools in Aberdeenshire, a Bonelli's Warbler on St.Agnes in Scilly, an Arctic Warbler at Baltasound on Shetland, Citrine Wagtails in Orkney, Westray, and Shetland, Sumburgh, two Olive-backed Pipits in Shetland, one at Walls, one at Boddam, a Radde's Warbler at Fair Isle, Shetland, and a Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim. Rarities included a Sykes's Warbler in Aberdeenshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Red-eyed Vireo in Suffolk, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in Hampshire, a Baird's Sandpiper in West Yorkshire, Spotted Sandpipers in Cornwall and Gwynedd, Pallid Harriers in Merseyside and Shetland, a probable Eastern Bonelli's Warbler in Lincolnshire, a King Eider in Shetland, a Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, a Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, a Red-flanked Bluetail in Lothian, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Somerset and Leicestershire. |
