| The new rarities today were a male Red-Footed Falcon at Paull in East Yorkshire, a Caspian Tern at Farmoor Reservoir in Oxfordshire and a Semipalmated Sandpiper on Fair Isle, Shetland.

New rarities consisted of a Laughing Gull at Broadford Bay in Highland, and a Kentish Plover at Dungeness in Kent. Other notable news today was belated news of a Little Swift at Grantown-on-Spey in Highland on the 6th of June. |
