Elsewhere in Britain Forster's Tern and Red-rumped Swallow were still in Dorset, two Zitting Cisticolas and Hume's Warbler were still in Suffolk, White-winged Scoter still in Lothian, Hume's Warbler and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Bonaparte's Gull, Dusky Warbler, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gulls in Shetland and the Western Isles, Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, and Lesser Scaups in Essex and Worcestershire (2). In Ireland Harlequin Duck and Pacific Diver remained in County Donegal, as did Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare and Lesser Scaup in County Wexford. |

| The highlight of the day was a Red-rumped Swallow in Dorset at Radipole Lake; the third in four days following one on 26th in County Cork and another yesterday in Suffolk.
Continuing rarities included the Stejneger's Scoter still in Fife, Ross's Gull, Pacific Diver, and Dusky Warbler all still in Cornwall, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Hume's Warblers in both Suffolk and Warwickshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, King Eider in Highland and Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in County Tyrone, Long-billed Dowitchers in Angus and Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, Cornwall, and Denbighshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Scilly and the Western Isles, and Lesser Scaups in Northamptonshire and Worcestershire (2). |

| In Dorset the Forster's Tern again re-appeared in Poole Harbour, seen off Baiter Park this afternoon. A Bonaparte's Gull was found on Barra in the Western Isles and a pair of Lesser Scaups was discovered at Clifton Pits in Worcestershire. A Black Kite was reported at Wye in Kent.
The Ross's Gull continued to delight birders at Newlyn in Corwall and other lingering rarities included the Redhead in County Kerry, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Stejneger's Scoter, or possibly hybrid, in Fife, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Black Scoter in County Kerry, Baikal Teal in Glamorgan, Lesser Scaups in Essex, Northamptonshire and County Wexford, Pacific Divers in Cornwall and County Donegal, Spotted Sandpiper in County Waterford, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Denbighshire, Pallid Harrier in Carmarthenshire, Bonaparte's Gull on Shetland, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall and Hume's Warblers in Suffolk and Warwickshire. |

| Breaking news from Cornwall concerned a Ross's Gull at Newlyn and a new Dusky Warbler at Marazion, whilst in Devon a Bonaparte's Gull was seen briefly at Brixham, Devon.
