| Another White-rumped Sandpiper was found this morning, this one at Frampton in Lincolnshire, with lingering White-rumped Sandpipers confirmed still present at Kilnsea in East Yorkshire (two), Snettisham in Norfolk and Thorntonloch in Lothian.
There was no sign of the Black-winged Pratincole in Northumberland but lingering rarities still present included the Western Bonelli's Warbler on Scilly, the Zitting Cisticola and Black Stork in Suffolk, the Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester and Bonaparte's Gulls in Aberdeenshire and Kent. |

| Wednesday 13th August 2025 | ||

| New discoveries today consisted of two warblers and three waders. A Western Bonelli's Warbler was found on St.Mary's on the Scilly Isles and an Aquatic Warbler was found in Norfolk at Burnham, although was not seen again. In Northumberland a Black-winged Pratincole was a nice find at East Chevington, whilst in Suffolk a Pacific Golden Plover was found at Boyton, and a new White-rumped Sandpiper was found at Thorntonloch in Lothian.
The Laughing Gull was seen again in County Kerry and in Suffolk both the Zitting Cisticola and Black Stork remained in residence. Other lingering rarities included the two Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Wateford, Forth and East Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gulls in Aberdeenshire and Kent. |

| Tuesday 12th August 2025 | ||

| The highlights of the day was the discovery of a pratincole species in Northumberland at East Chevington, whilst a Bonaparte's Gull was confirmed in Aberdeenshire at Inverallochy.
Elsewhere, lingering rarities today comprised at least one Zitting Cisticola and the Black Stork in Suffolk, Eastern Subalpine Warbler still in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitcher still in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and White-rumped Sandpipers in both Norfolk and East Yorkshire (2). |

| Discoveries today included a Black-winged Pratincole briefly in Lincolnshire at Saltfleetby, a Western Bonelli's Warbler in County Cork at Galley Head, a Bonaparte's Gull in Argyll at Add Estuary, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in County Mayo at Achill Island.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Zitting Cisticola and Black Stork both in Suffolk, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, two Lesser Scaups together in Staffordshire, and single White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Forth, and East Yorkshire. |

| Nearctic waders today included the Long-billed Dowitcher still in County Wexford at Tacumshin, Lesser Yellowlegs still in Lancashire at Leighton Moss, and White-rumped Sandpipers in Forth at Skinflats, East Yorkshire at Kilnsea, and County Waterford at Tramore.
Otherwise, rarities comprised Zitting Cisticola and Black Stork both still in Suffolk, the Double-crested Cormorant showed again in County Leitrim, a White-winged Scoter remained in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and two Lesser Scaups together in Staffordshire. |

| Discoveries today included a Lesser Yellowlegs briefly in Highland at Nairn, a Black Kite reported in Surrey at Farnham, and White-rumped Sandpipers in Lincolnshire at Gibraltar Point, County Waterford at Tramore, and three together in East Yorkshire at Kilnsea.
Elsewhere, continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Zitting Cisticola and Black Stork both in Suffolk, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, and two Lesser Scaups together in Staffordshire. |

| Discoveries today included a White-rumped Sandpiper in Lancashire at Skippool Creek, whilst in County Wexford there are now two Long-billed Dowitchers: at Tacumshin and Lady's Island Lake.
Elsewhere continuing rarities confirmed as still present were both the Zitting Cisticola and Black Stork in Suffolk, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| A Yelkouan Shearwater flew past Berry Head, Devon this morning.

| A Northern Harrier at an undisclosed site in County Clare yesterday was the new rarity of the day.
Continuing rarities included a singing Zitting Cisticola at Walberswick in Suffolk, a rare vagrant, a Black Stork at Boyton Marshes RSPB in Suffolk, Ferruginous Duck at Fen Drayton Lakes RSPB and Earith Gravel Pits in Cambridgeshire, an American Black Tern at Tyninghame Bay in Lothian, a Bonaparte's Gull at Oare Marshes in Kent, a probable Bonaparte's Gull at Cley in Norfolk, a White-winged Scoter at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, and a Lesser Scaup at Audenshaw Reservoirs in Greater Manchester. |
