Monday 4th August 2025  
  A Fea's Petrel flying past Pendeen Watch in Cornwall at 2.30pm was the new rarity of the day.

Continuing rarities included a singing Zitting Cisticola at Walberswick in Suffolk, a rare vagrant, a Laughing Gull at Trabeg in County Kerry, a Black Stork at Boyton Marshes RSPB in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire and Hampshire, a Bonaparte's Gull at Oare Marshes in Kent, Lesser Scaups at Belvide Reservoir in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire, and an Azorean Yellow-legged Gull at Annagh Marsh in County Mayo.

Sunday 3rd August 2025  
  A singing Zitting Cisticola near Walberswick in Suffolk was the standout bird of the day.

Also noted were an Elegant Tern flying south past Annagh Head in County Mayo, and Black Kites over Blandford Forum in Dorset and Winterbourne Dauntsey in Wiltshire.

Continuing rarities included a Black Stork in Suffolk, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, and Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, a Gull-billed Tern in Kent, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire.

Saturday 2nd August 2025  
  New discoveries today included a Pacific Golden Plover on the Alaw Estuary in Anglesey and a Caspian Tern near Helford, Cornwall.

Lingering rarities included the Black Stork in Suffolk, White-winged Scoters in Lothian and Angus, two Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Friday 1st August 2025  
  Today the roaming Caspian Tern spent a while at Kilvington Lakes in Nottinghamshire before moving on again.

Lingering rarities included the White-rumped Sandpiper in Kent, Black Stork in Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, two Lesser Scaups together in Staffordshire, American Black Tern in Lothian and Laughing Gull in County Kerry.

Seawatching along the east coast produced a good smattering of records of Cory's and Great Shearwaters and Pomarine Skuas.

Thursday 31st July 2025  
  There were no new rarities reported today.

Continuing birds included White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Kent and East Yorkshire; a Black Stork in Suffolk; a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent; a Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire; a Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford; a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire; a Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire; Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire; an American Black Tern in Lothian; and White-winged Scoters in both Lothian and Angus.

Wednesday 30th July 2025  
  New headline birds included a Least Tern at Laytown in County Meath, a Black Kite over Portland in Dorset, and a Caspian Tern in Poole Harbour, also in Dorset.

Continuing rarities included White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Kent and East Yorkshire, a Black Stork in Suffolk, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, a Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and Greater Manchester, a Caspian Tern in Leicestershire, a Black-winged Pratincole in the Western Isles, an American Black Tern in Lothian, and White-winged Scoters in Angus and Lothian.

Tuesday 29th July 2025  
  New headline birds included a Black-winged Pratincole on North Uist in the Western Isles and two White-winged Scoters off Kinnaber Links in Angus.

Also new were a Caspian Tern in Leicestershire at Eyebrook Reservoir, a Laughing Gull in St Ives, Cornwall, and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Oare Marshes, Kent.

Continuing rarities included White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and East Yorkshire, a Black Stork in Suffolk, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, a Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler on Fair Isle in Shetland, an American Black Tern in Lothian and a White-winged Scoter also in Lothian.

  Lingering rarities seen today included the Laughing Gull in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Black Stork in Suffolk, American Black Tern and White-winged Scoter in Lothian, two Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and one in Greater Manchester, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and Yorkshire.

Sunday 27th July 2025  
  In Cornwall, a Laughing Gull was at Sennen Cove this morning before relocating to Penzance, and a Fea's Petrel species flew past The Lizard.

Lingering rarities included the White-winged Scoter and American Black Tern in Lothian, Caspian Tern in Gloucestershire, two Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, Black Stork in Suffolk, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs' in Hampshire and Lancashire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Saturday 26th July 2025  
  A Lesser Yellowlegs was found at Harper's Island, County Cork, whilst late news concerned a Caspian Tern seen yesterday at Longham Lakes, Dorset.

Continuing birds included White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and East Yorkshire; a Long-billed Dowitcher also in County Wexford; a Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire; a Black Stork in Suffolk; a Caspian Tern in Gloucestershire; a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent; a Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire; Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire; and an Eastern Subalpine Warbler on Fair Isle, Shetland.
