Continuing highlights included the mobile Black Stork around Hollesley, Boyton and Orford Ness Suffolk, White-rumped Sandpipers at Tacumshin, Co.Wexford and Spurn, E.Yorks, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |

| Headline news came from Suffolk, where a Black Stork flew over Hollesley towards Boyton mid morning.
Other new arrivals included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Tacumshin, County Wexford, and a Caspian Tern at Hartleton, Herefordshire, which was later seen in Gloucestershire. Continuing rarities included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Spurn, East Yorkshire, Baird's Sandpiper on Unst, Shetland, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Laughing Gull in County Kerry, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |

| A Baird's Sandpiper was found at Baltasound, Unst, Shetland today, and a Fea's Petrel species flew past Pendeen, Cornwall.
Lingering rarities included the Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| The day's highlights included a Fea’s Petrel at Lizard Point, Cornwall, late morning, and a White-rumped Sandpiper on the Humber off The Warren at Spurn, East Yorkshire.

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of the fourth Pacific Golden Plover of the autumn; in Norfolk at Warham Greens.

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black-winged Pratincole in the Western Isles at Hougharry, North Uist, whilst in Lothian a White-rumped Sandpiper was new at Musselburgh Lagoons.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Caspian Tern in Northumberland, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. Significant late news concerned a Scopoli's Shearwater yesterday in Cornwall passing Porthgwarra, whilst on 9th July a Slate-coloured Junco was at Ely, Cambridgeshire. |
