Tuesday 15th July 2025  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black-winged Pratincole in the Western Isles at Hougharry, North Uist, whilst in Lothian a White-rumped Sandpiper was new at Musselburgh Lagoons.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Caspian Tern in Northumberland, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Significant late news concerned a Scopoli's Shearwater yesterday in Cornwall passing Porthgwarra, whilst on 9th July a Slate-coloured Junco was at Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Monday 14th July 2025  
  Discoveries today included a Barolo Shearwater in County Clare passing Bridges of Ross, a Caspian Tern briefly in Northumberland at East Chevington, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester at Audenshaw Reservoir, White-rumped Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire at the Ythan Estuary, and in Cornwall a Black Kite at Land's End.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Sunday 13th July 2025  
  Exceptional news today of a Soft-plumaged Petrel in Cornwall passing west at Coverack, Lizard Point and then Porthgwarra this evening; the second British record. Other discoveries included a Laughing Gull briefly in Devon at Dawlish Warren (the third brief encounter so afr this month), and Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire at Earith and on the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border at Stanford Reservoir.

Elsewhere, continuing rarities comprised White-winged Scoters in both Aberdeenshire and Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Lesser Yellowlegs in both Hampshire and Lancashire.

Saturday 12th July 2025  
  Continuing rarities included a Black-winged Pratincole on Mainland Shetland, Bonaparte's Gulls in Kent and County Cork, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, a Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.

Friday 11th July 2025  
  Lingering rarities seen today included the Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Black-winged Pratincole in Shetland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Cork, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire and Warwickshire, Black-headed Bunting in Shetland and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Thursday 10th July 2025  
  New today were at Subalpine Warbler species in Lancashire at Fleetwood Marsh, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk at Snettisham.

Elsewhere, continuing rarities confirmed as still present were Greater Sand Plover, Black-winged Pratincole, and Eastern Subalpine Warbler all in Shetland, White-winged Scoter still in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and Ferruginous Ducks in both Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

Wednesday 9th July 2025  
  The day's highlight came from the Scilly pelagic, where a Barolo Shearwater was recorded.

Other new arrivals included a Greater Sand Plover at Haroldswick on Unst (Shetland), a White-winged Scoter off Musselburgh in Lothian, and two White-rumped Sandpipers, one at Ballycotton in County Cork and another at Montrose Basin in Angus.

Continuing rarities included a Black-headed Bunting on Foula (Shetland), a Collared Pratincole in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and County Cork, a Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and a Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

Tuesday 8th July 2025  
  Discoveries today included a Caspian Tern briefly at Hornsea Mere , East Yorkshire.

Elsewhere, continuing rarities comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Collared Pratincole in Suffolk, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Pacific Golden Plover in Norfolk, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Isles of Scilly, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, territorial Blyth's Reed Warbler in Borders, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, and Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester.

Monday 7th July 2025  
  New discoveries today included a Collared Pratincole at Aldeburgh, Suffolk, a Pacific Golden Plover on North Ronaldsay, Orkney and a Lesser Yellowlegs at Leighton Moss RSPB, Lancashire.

Lingering rarities included the Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Black-winged Pratincole and White-rumped Sandpiper in Shetland, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Borders, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Sunday 6th July 2025  
  Discoveries today included a Spotted Sandpiper in Cambridgeshire at Dernford Farm Reservoir, Semipalmated Sandpiper in the Isles of Scilly on St Mary's, and White-rumped Sandpiper in Shetland on Foula, whilst seawatchers logged in Cornwall a Barolo Shearwater at Cape Cornwall, and in Kent a Laughing Gull at North Foreland.

Rarities confirmed as still present were the Least Tern in County Dublin, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Caspian Tern in Norfolk, territorial Savi's Warbler in Lincolnshire, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Borders, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire.
