| New rarities today consisted of a Red-throated Pipit in Northumberland at Budle Bay, a Tawny Pipit on Bryher, Scilly, and a Savi's Warbler at Cossington, Leicestershire.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present included a brief appearance of the Cape Gull in West Yorkshire, the Broad-billed Sandpiper in Gwent, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Black Kite in Norfolk, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, and Savi's Warbler in Cornwall. |

| Most unexpected today was an adult Cape Gull in West Yorkshire at Redcar Tarn; perhaps the same individual as that present earlier at Grafham Water, Cambridgeshire in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
A Broad-billed Sandpiper in Gwent at Goldcliff was the first in Britain and Ireland since 2023. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, two White-winged Scoters in Fife, Pacific Diver in County Clare, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler in Cornwall, and at least one Lesser Scaup in Essex. |

| Friday 25th April 2025 | ||

| In Cambridgeshire, a Great Reed Warbler was found at Ouse Fen RSPB, an Eastern Stonechat species was on Noss, Shetland and a Black Kite flew over Strumpshaw, Norfolk.
Lingering rarities included the Forster's Tern in Dorset, Savi's Warbler in Cornwall, White-winged Scoter in Fife and two Lesser Scaups in both Somerset and Essex. |

| Thursday 24th April 2025 | ||

| Discoveries today included an Alpine Swift in County Waterford at Dungarvan and a Red-rumped Swallow on Lewis, Western Isles.
Continuing rarities comprised the Eastern Bonelli's Warbler still in Shetland, Subalpine Warbler species still in East Yorkshire, Savi's Warbler in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, and pairs of Lesser Scaup in both Essex and Somerset. Significant late news of a White-throated Sparrow present in Hampshire on Monday but not been seen since. |

| The highlight of the day was a Crag Martin in Norfolk at Winterton Dunes in the eary morning; a county first. Elsewhere an Eastern Subalpine Warbler was new in Shetland on Fair Isle, and in East Yorkshire a Subalpine Warbler species was at Flamborough Head albeit briefly, and a Black Kite was reported at Out Newton.
Continuing rarities were the Eastern Bonelli's Warbler still in Shetland, Forster's Tern still in Dorset, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in North Yorkshire, Savi's Warbler still in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, and pairs of Lesser Scaups in both Essex and Somerset. |

| Discoveries today included a Black Scoter in Lothian at Fisherrow, Little Bittern in Dorset at Bournemouth, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland at Scatness, and in Kent a Red-rumped Swallow at North Foreland.
Continuing rarities comprised the Eastern Bonelli's Warbler still in Shetland, Forster's Tern still in Dorset, Least Sandpiper in East Sussex, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in North Yorkshire, Savi's Warbler and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull both in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, and Lesser Scaups in Dorset and Somerset (2). |

| In Cornwall, a Subalpine Warbler sp was found at Dobwalls, in Shetland a Eastern Subalpine Warbler was found on Foula, and a Caspian Tern was found in Kent at Swalecliffe.
Lingering rarities included the Baikal Teal in Hertfordshire, a Least Sandpiper which returned to West Sussex, Eastern Bonelli's Warbler in Shetland, Savi's Warblers in Cornwall and Nottinghamshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Hornemann's Redpoll in Gwynedd, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Somerset (two), Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo. |

| In Norfolk, the Booted Eagle reappeared again today, seen flying west near Glandford mid afternoon. A Baikal Teal was found at Wilstone Reservoir, Hertfordshire, with a Hornemann's Redpoll on Bardsey Island, Gwynedd, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler at Filey, North Yorkshire, a Bonaparte's Gull at Hornsea Mere, East Yorkshire and a Pallid Harrier at Wedholme Flow, Cumbria.
Lingering rarities included the Eastern Bonelli's Warbler in Shetland, Savi's Warblers in Cornwall and Nottinghamshire, two White-winged Scoters in Fife, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Somerset (two) and County Wexford (two), Black Kite in Shropshire, two Pacific Divers in County Mayo and another in County Donegal, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo. |

| The highlight today was an Eastern Bonelli's Warlber found at Skaw, on Whalsay, Shetland, other new rarities consisted of a Black Kite at St Levan in Cornwall, in Shropshire at Wood Lane GPs, and on St.Mary's, Scilly, a Red-rumped Swallow Conwy at RSPB Conwy, and in Sussex at Beachy Head, an additional White-winged Scoter at Buckhaven, Fife, a Whiskered Tern, Somerset, a Barolo Shearwater at Prawle Point, Devon, a Black Stork in Hampshire at Beaulieu Road Station, and a Lesser Scaup at Tophill Low in East Yorkshire, as well as late news of two at Dungarvan, County Waterford.
Continuing rarities today comprised the Pacific Diver in County Donegal, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Savi's Warbler in Cornwall and Nottinghamshire, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, and Lesser Scaups in Somerset(2), Dorset, and East Yorkshire. |

| An Ashy-headed Wagtail was found in East Yorkshire at Flamborough, a Bonaparte's Gull at Llanon in Ceredigion, a Savi's Warbler in Nottinghamshire at Attenborough NR, and a Subalpine Warbler sp appeared in Dorset at Wyke Regis.
Continuing rarities today comprised the Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Pacific Diver in County Donegal, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Black Scoter in Fife, Whiskered Tern in Somerset, Savi's Warbler and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Essex(2), Somerset(2), Gloucestershire, Dorset, and East Yorkshire. |
