| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Subalpine Warbler species in Shetland at Boddam, Mainland.
Continuing rarities today comprised the Double-crested Cormorant still in County Sligo, Least Sandpiper still in West Sussex, Whiskered Tern in Somerset, Black Kite in Suffolk, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, and Lesser Scaups in County Donegal, Gloucestershire, Somerset (2), Western Isles, and East Yorkshire. |

| Monday 14th April 2025 | ||

||
| The roaming Booted Eagle was seen in Norfolk today, as it flew in off the sea at Beeston Bump before heading north-west mid afternoon. A Red-rumped Swallow was also seen at Beeston Bump, and a Black Kite flew north over Minsmere and Westleton Heath, Suffolk.
Lingering rarities included the Forster's Tern in Dorset, Whiskered Tern in Somerset, American Coot and Ross's Goose in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Somerset, Gloucestershire, Essex (three) and Yorkshire, two Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire, Least Sandpiper in Sussex, Bonaparte's Gull in Conwy and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull and Savi's Warbler in Cornwall. |

| Discoveries today included a Western Subalpine Warbler in Lincolnshire at Gibraltar Point, Savi's Warbler in Cornwall at Marazion Marsh, Red-throated Pipit in Somerset at Brean Down, Pallid Harrier in West Yorkshire at Walshaw Dean Reservoirs, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire at Holme Pierrepont, two Red-rumped Swallows together on the Isles of Scilly on St Mary's, and now two White-winged Scoters together in Fife at Leven.
Continuing rarities comprised the American Coot still in Shetland, Forster's Tern in Dorset, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Least Sandpiper in West Sussex, two Pacific Divers together in County Mayo, Whiskered Tern in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gull in Conwy, Black Kite in Kent, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Ferruginous Ducks in Shropshire and Warwickshire (2), and Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Essex (2), and Somerset (2). |

| Discoveries today included a Whiskered Tern in Somerset at Durleigh Reservoir, an Ashy-headed Wagtail in Northumberland at St Mary's Island, Ferruginous Duck in Shropshire at Aston's Lock, Black Kite in Kent at Sandwich Bay, and a Red-rumped Swallow briefly in Dorset at Portland Bill.
Continuing rarities included the Booted Eagle in Kent at Ramsgate until mid morning, American Coot still in Shetland, Forster's Tern still in Dorset, Least Sandpiper in West Sussex, two Pacific Divers together in County Mayo, Pallid Harrier in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Conwy, and Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Essex, (2), Gloucestershire, and Somerset (2). |

| The day's highlight came from the Scilly pelagic, where a Barolo Shearwater was recorded.
Other new arrivals included a Greater Sand Plover at Haroldswick on Unst (Shetland), a White-winged Scoter off Musselburgh in Lothian, and two White-rumped Sandpipers, one at Ballycotton in County Cork and another at Montrose Basin in Angus. Continuing rarities included a Black-headed Bunting on Foula (Shetland), a Collared Pratincole in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, a Bonaparte’s Gull in Kent and County Cork, a Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and a Ferruginous Duck in Leicestershire and Warwickshire. |

| Tuesday 8th April 2025 | ||

| Two Iberian Chiffchaffs were found in a private area in County Waterford. A drake Lesser Scaup was found at Hornsea Mere in Yorkshire and a Bonaparte's Gull was a new discovery at Llanelli in Carmarthenshire. The Red-rumped Swallow influx continued with a bird found at Kynance Cove in Cornwall.
The Ferruginous Duck put in another appearance at Woolston Eyes in Cheshire and the pair of Ferruginous Ducks were still in Warwickshire. In West Sussex the Least Sandpiper continues its stay at Medmerry. Other lingering rarities included Lesser Scaups in the Western Isles, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Somerset, Ross's Goose and American Coot in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and County Wexford, Subalpine Warbler sp in Dorset, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork and White-winged Scoter in Lothian. |

| Monday 7th April 2025 | ||

||
| Red-rumped Swallows were found on St.Mary's and Tresco in the Scilly Isles, with another bird at Beachy Head in East Sussex. There was belated news of a Great Reed Warbler last week on Unst in the Shetlands and a Lesser Scaup was reported at Balgray Reservoir in Clyde.
There was no sign of the Alpine Accentor in Cornwall, but in Dorset, the Subalpine Warbler sp was still at Weymouth and the Western Subalpine Warbler remained in County Cork. In West Sussex the Least Sandpiper was still to be found at Medmerry. Other lingering rarities included American Coot in Shetland, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in the Western Isles and White-winged Scoter in Lothian. |
