| Discoveries today included a Whiskered Tern in Somerset at Durleigh Reservoir, an Ashy-headed Wagtail in Northumberland at St Mary's Island, Ferruginous Duck in Shropshire at Aston's Lock, Black Kite in Kent at Sandwich Bay, and a Red-rumped Swallow briefly in Dorset at Portland Bill.
Continuing rarities included the Booted Eagle in Kent at Ramsgate until mid morning, American Coot still in Shetland, Forster's Tern still in Dorset, Least Sandpiper in West Sussex, two Pacific Divers together in County Mayo, Pallid Harrier in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Conwy, and Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Essex, (2), Gloucestershire, and Somerset (2). |

| The highlight today was a Booted Eagle found at Broadstairs in Kent, Pallid Harrier at Anderby in Lincolnshire, Alpine Swift on Tiree in Argyll, Snowy Owl at Strathy in Highlands, and a Red-flanked Bluetail at Grutness, Shetland.
Lingering rarities included the Least Sandpiper in West Sussex, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Bonaparte's Gull in Conwy, two Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Essex(2), Somerset(2), Dorset, and Gloucestershire, Ross's Goose and American Coot in Shetland, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Western Isles, Subalpine Warbler sp in Dorset, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, and a Black Scoter in Fife. |

| A Bonaparte's Gull was found at Conwy RSPB in Conwy, Pallid Swift on St.Mary's, Scilly, Pacific Diver off Achill Island, County Mayo, three Lesser Scaups at Abberton Resr, Essex, and another Lesser Scaup at Chew Valley Lake, Somerset.
The two Ferruginous Ducks remained in Warwickshire. In West Sussex the Least Sandpiper continues its stay at Medmerry. Other lingering rarities included Lesser Scaups in the Western Isles, East Yorkshire, Dorset, and Somerset, Ross's Goose and American Coot in Shetland, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Western Isles, Subalpine Warbler sp in Dorset, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork, and a Black Scoter in Fife. |

| Tuesday 8th April 2025 | ||

||
| Two Iberian Chiffchaffs were found in a private area in County Waterford. A drake Lesser Scaup was found at Hornsea Mere in Yorkshire and a Bonaparte's Gull was a new discovery at Llanelli in Carmarthenshire. The Red-rumped Swallow influx continued with a bird found at Kynance Cove in Cornwall.
The Ferruginous Duck put in another appearance at Woolston Eyes in Cheshire and the pair of Ferruginous Ducks were still in Warwickshire. In West Sussex the Least Sandpiper continues its stay at Medmerry. Other lingering rarities included Lesser Scaups in the Western Isles, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Somerset, Ross's Goose and American Coot in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and County Wexford, Subalpine Warbler sp in Dorset, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork and White-winged Scoter in Lothian. |

| Monday 7th April 2025 | ||
|
||
| Red-rumped Swallows were found on St.Mary's and Tresco in the Scilly Isles, with another bird at Beachy Head in East Sussex. There was belated news of a Great Reed Warbler last week on Unst in the Shetlands and a Lesser Scaup was reported at Balgray Reservoir in Clyde.
There was no sign of the Alpine Accentor in Cornwall, but in Dorset, the Subalpine Warbler sp was still at Weymouth and the Western Subalpine Warbler remained in County Cork. In West Sussex the Least Sandpiper was still to be found at Medmerry. Other lingering rarities included American Coot in Shetland, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in the Western Isles and White-winged Scoter in Lothian. |

| Sunday 6th April 2025 | ||

||
| In County Mayo, the Elegant Tern reappeared at Sruhill Lough this afternoon. A female Subalpine Warbler species was found at Weymouth, Dorset, Red-rumped Swallows were at Portland, Dorset, North Hallsands, Devon (three) and Tacumshin, County Wexford, an Alpine Swift was at St Buryan, Cornwall and a Black Scoter was at Ruddons Point, Fife.
Lingering rarities still present included the Alpine Accentor in Cornwall, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork, Least Sandpiper in Sussex, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Lesser Scaups in Dorset and Western Isles and two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Western Isles. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Alpine Accentor on the Isle of Wight at Blackgang; perhaps the bird from Cornwall relocating.
Rarities elsewhere comprised the American Coot still in Shetland, Forster's Tern still in Dorset, Least Sandpiper still in West Sussex, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork, Blue-winged Teal and Long-billed Dowitcher together in County Wexford, Alpine Swift briefly in Gloucestershire, Red-footed Falcon reported briefly in Kent, two Richardson's Cackling Geese together in the Western Isles, and Lesser Scaups in Dorset and Essex (2). |

| New discoveries today included two Cackling Geese at Balranald, Western Isles, a Ferruginous Duck at Heathrow, London, a Black Kite at Llyn Penryn, Anglesey and Alpine Swifts at Selsey, Sussex, Marazion, Cornwall and Sheep's Head, County Cork.
Lingering rarities included the Alpine Accentor and Booted Eagle in Cornwall, American Coot in Shetland, Least Sandpiper in Sussex, Long-billed Dowitcher and Black Kite in Devon, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Lesser Scaups in Somerset and Gloucestershire and Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork. |

| The highlight today was a Alpine Accentor was found in Cornwall at Aire Point. Other new rarities were two Black Kites, one in Devon at Paignton, and one in Norfolk at Croxton, a Subalpine Warbler sp in County Cork at Galley Head, and a Least Sandpiper in Sussex at Medmerry RSPB.
Continuing rarities today comprised the Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bufflehead in Shetland, and Lesser Scaups in Dorset and Gloucestershire. |
