Continuing rarities confirmed as still present comprised Booted Eagle and Bonaparte's Gull both still in Cornwall, Red-breasted Goose and Richardson's Cackling Goose together in Argyll, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Ferruginous Duck in Cheshire, Lesser Scaups in County Cork, Devon, and County Wexford, and Marbled Duck in Worcestershire. |

| Rarities today comprised the Booted Eagle still in Cornwall, American Coot and Bufflehead both still in Shetland, two White-winged Scoters together in Lothian, Least Sandpiper in Somerset, Black-throated Thrush and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Marbled Duck in Worcestershire, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Essex, County Sligo, and County Wexford (2), and in Orkney the Long-billed Dowitcher returned to North Ronaldsay.
Disappointing news from Gwynedd where the Indo-Pacific White Tern taken into care recently at Llanberis has died. |

| Discoveries today included Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall at Portscatho and in Glamorgan at Wernffrwd, a Lesser Scaup in Aberdeenshire at Loch of Skene, in Borders a White-billed Diver at Cove, and in Worcestershire a Marbled Duck at Longdon Marsh.

| Extraordinary news of a White Tern picked up in Gwynedd at Llanberis - either today or in recent days - and taken into care. This is first Western Palearctic record of this tropical noddy and the photograph made available shows it to be of the Indo-Pacific subspecies candida.
In County Wicklow a Lesser Yellowlegs was new at Buckroney Marsh. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Black-throated Thrush in Hampshire, Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Lincolnshire, Bufflehead, Ross's Goose, and White-billed Diver in Shetland, two White-winged Scoters in Lothian, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Red-breasted Goose and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Ferruginous Duck in Hertfordshire, and Lesser Scaups in County Cork, Essex (2), County Wexford (2), and the Western Isles. |

| New rarities today were discoveries of both a White-billed Diver in Shetland at Whalsay, and an additional Lesser Scaup was found at Abberton Resr in Essex.
Continuing rarities comprised the Booted Eagle briefly in Cornwall, Bufflehead and American Coot still in Shetland, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Lincolnshire, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Ross's Goose in Shetland, Lesser Scaup in County Wexford, Western Isles, Essex(2), Devon, and Derbyshire, Black Duck in County Mayo, and in Dumfries and Galloway a Richardson's Cackling Goose remained. |
