| Rarities today comprised both the Grey-headed Lapwing and White-billed Diver still in Northumberland, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover still in Somerset, Pallid Harriers in both County Cork and Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Lesser Scaup in Essex, Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire, London, and Warwickshire (2), and in Aberdeenshire a probable Thayer's Gull was at Peterhead.
Significant news for yesterday was that the Scops Owl was showing again in Kent at Broadstairs overnight. |

| A juvenile White-billed Diver spent a couple of hours on Cresswell Pond, Northumberland this morning.
Lingering rarities seen today included the Grey-headed Lapwing in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Bufflehead in Shetland, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Hertfordshire and Lesser Scaups in County Cork, County Clare, Staffordshire and two in Perth and Kinross. |

| The Scops Owl was seen again at Broadstairs in Kent this evening, after an absence of three days. However, there was again no sign of the Yellow Warbler in Kent nor was there any sign of either the Least Sandpiper nor the Baikal Teal in Somerset.
The Grey-headed Lapwing remained in Northumberland and the American Coot was still on Mainland Shetland. Other lingering rarities included Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk and Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, Perth and Kinoross (2) and Essex, Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire, London, Lincolnshire and Warwickshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall. |

| A White-billed Diver was found in County Antrim off Waterfoot.
Lingering rarities included the Grey-headed Lapwing in Northumberland, Least Sandpiper in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, American Coot in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Essex, Cambridgeshire, Staffordshire, County Wexford and County Cork, Ferruginous Ducks in London, Hertfordshire (two), Warwickshire and Lincolnshire, two Richardsons's Cackling Geese in County Donegal, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall and County Cork, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and Penduline Tit in Cheshire. |

| In Kent, at New Hythe, the Yellow Warbler was seen early in the morning but not subsequently and there was no sign at all of the Scops Owl at Broadstairs today. In Somerset, however, the Least Sandpiper showed on and off at Steart WWT reserve.
The Grey-headed Lapwing remained in Northumberland, the drake Bufflehead was still on Foula in the Shetland Islands and the Baikal Teal was again present in Somerset. White-winged Scoters were to be found in both Angus and County Kerry. Other lingering rarities included Pacific Diver in County Clare, Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk and Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Lesser Scaups in County Leitrim, County Cork, County Wexford, Staffordshire, Fife, Cambridgeshire and Somerset, Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire, London and Warwickshire, Bonaparte's Gull in County Cork, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and Northern Harrier in county Wexford. |

| Today's new rarities consisted of a Least Sandpiper at Steart WWT in Somerset, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Pennington Marshes in Hampshire, and a Lesser Scaup at Lough Sallagh in County Leitrim.
Existing rarities today comprised the Yellow Warbler in Kent, Grey-headed Lapwing in Northumberland, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Long-billed Dowitcher and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Ferruginous Ducks in London, Hertfordshire, and Warwickshire, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Pacific Diver in County Clare, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Canvasback in Essex, and Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, Essex, Somerset, Cambridgeshire, and County Wexford(2). |
