| The highlight of the day was the discovery of an adult male Bufflehead on the Shetland Isles on Foula whilst a Ferruginous Duck was new in Hertfordshire at West Hyde, and a White-billed Diver passed Kinnaird Head, Aberdeenshire.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Northern Harrier in County Cork, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Eastern Stonechat species in Lincolnshire, Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Pallid Harriers in County Cork and Pembrokeshire, Bonaparte's Gull and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull both in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpipers in Pembrokeshire, County Londonderry and County Wexford (2), Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in Cambridgeshire, County Donegal, Fife, Kinross, Staffordshire, and County Wexford. |

| Rarities consisted of late news of an Oriental Turtle Dove at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Northumberland. On Scilly a Blyth's Pipit was found on St Agnes, and a Dusky Warbler was found on St Mary's at Porth Hellick. The other rarity found was a Pallid Swift on Lundy, Devon.
Lingering rarities included the Northern Harrier and Pallid Harrier in County Cork, another Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, and another Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Eastern Stonechat species in Lincolnshire, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Lesser Scaups in Cambridgeshire, Devon, Staffordshire, County Kerry, County Wexford, and Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford and Pembrokeshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Pembrokeshire and County Donegal, and Spotted Sandpiper in Fife. |

| A Lesser Scaup was found at Ross Castle, County Kerry, and a Black-winged Stilt was on the Camel Estuary in Cornwall, with a report of a Penduline Tit in Bedfordshire and late news of a Slate-coloured Junco in Upton, Dorset last weekend.
Lingering rarities included the Northern Harrier and Pallid Harrier in County Cork, another Pallid Harrier and a Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Pied Wheatear in Sussex, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Eastern Stonechat species in Lincolnshire, White-winged Scoter in Angus, Lesser Scaups in Cambridgeshire, Staffordshire, County Armagh, County Donegal and Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, White-rumped Sandpipers in Pembrokeshire and County Donegal and Spotted Sandpiper in Fife. |

| Discoveries today included a Pallid Harrier in County Cork at Ballyvergan Marsh where it joined a Northern Harrier, an Eastern Stonechat species in Lincolnshire at Gibraltar Point, and in Pembrokeshire a White-rumped Sandpiper at Newport.
Continuing rarities comprised the White-winged Scoter still in Lothian, Pied Wheatear in East Sussex, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Clare, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and Lesser Scaups in County Armagh, Cambridgeshire, Fife and Staffordshire. In Wiltshire the Hooded Merganser remained but was proved to be an escape. |

| New discoveries today included a Penduline Tit at Gwithian, Cornwall, a Desert Wheatear at Winterton, Norfolk, a Lesser Scaup at Lough Neagh, County Armagh and two White-rumped Sandpipers at Seafield, County Clare.
The Scarlet Tanager reappeared in Yorkshire, with other lingering rarities including the Pied Wheatear in Sussex, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, another Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in Gloucestershire and Western Isles (four), Lesser Scaups in Devon, Cambridgeshire, County Wexford and Staffordshire, Hooded Merganser in Wiltshire and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |

| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Scarlet Tanager at Shelf, West Yorkshire where it was present all day albeit elusive at times.
Discoveries included a Hooded Merganser in Wiltshire at Ramsbury, a Kentish Plover in Devon at Bantham, and a White-billed Diver on Whalsay, Shetland Isles. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Pied Wheatear in East Sussex, Hume's Warbler in Cornwall, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Eastern Stonechat species in Suffolk, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, White-winged Scoters in Angus, County Kerry, and Lothian, Northern Harriers in both County Cork and County Wexford, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher on the Orkney Isles, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Cork, Gloucestershire and County Wexford (2), Lesser Scaups in Devon, Fife, Staffordshire, and County Wexford (2), and Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire. |

| Outstanding news this evening of a Scarlet Tanager present in West Yorkshire today at Shelf where it has been watched for several days.
Discoveries elsewhere included a Hume's Warbler in Cornwall at Portheras, Lesser Scaup in Cambridgeshire at Bluntisham, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford at Cahore Marsh, and a White-billed Diver on Shetland Isles at Sumburgh Head, Mainland. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Pied Wheatear in East Sussex, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Pacific Diver in County Clare, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Eastern Stonechat species in Suffolk, Dusky Warbler and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in Devon, Ferruginous Ducks in both London and Warwickshire (2), Lesser Scaups in Devon, County Donegal, Fife, and Staffordshire, and the Kentish Plover returned to winter at Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset. |

| Discoveries today included a Pied Wheatear in Sussex at Seaford Head, a Penduline Tit in Cheshire at Woolston Eyes, White-billed Diver in Western Isles at Butt of Lewis, a Pallid Swift in Argyll at Coullabus, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall at Skewjack Farm, and in County Clare, a Pacific Diver at Black Head, County Clare.
Elsewhere, lingering rarities included the probable Amur Stonechat in Suffolk, Ferruginous Ducks in London, Lincolnshire and Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon, Staffordshire and Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in Orkney and Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, Pallid Harrier in Devon, Rough-legged Buzzard in Cornwall, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, and Eyebrowed Thrush in Orkney. |
