| New discoveries today included a Penduline Tit at Meare Heath, Somerset, a Radde's Warbler at Spurn, Yorkshire, a Subalpine Warbler species on Dursey Island and a Long-billed Dowitcher at Ballycotton, both County Cork, a Baird's Sandpiper at Bannow Bay, County Wexford and a Pallid Harrier at Nine Wells, Pembrokeshire.
Lingering rarities included the Paddyfield Warbler, Arctic Warbler and Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, Arctic Warbler, Dusky Warbler and an Isabelline Shrike species in Yorkshire, Arctic Warbler and a Subalpine Warbler species in County Cork, another Arctic Warbler in County Galway, Eastern Stonechats in Norfolk and Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk. |

| In Shetland, a Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler was found at Garth, South Nesting, with an Arctic Warbler at Bridge of Fitch, a Pechora Pipit and an Olive-backed Pipit on Fair Isle, and a further two Olive-backed Pipits at Uyeasound, Unst. A Red-flanked Bluetail was on North Ronaldsay, Orkney. Further south, a White-winged or Stejneger's Scoter flew past Holy Island, Northumberland and, in Yorkshire, a Radde's Warbler was trapped at Flamborough and a Dusky Warbler was at Spurn. In Lothian, the Stejneger's Scoter reappeared at Longniddry.
Lingering rarities included the Asian Desert Warbler in Norfolk, two Lanceolated Warblers, Paddyfield Warbler, two Olive-backed Pipits and a Coues's Redpoll in Shetland, an Isabelline Shrike species and an Olive-backed Pipit in Yorkshire, Eastern Stonechats in Norfolk and Northumberland (two), Arctic Warbler and a Subalpine Warbler species in County Cork, Booted Warbler and Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, further Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and Leicestershire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk. |

| The highlight of the day was an Asian Desert Warbler in Norfolk at Winterton where it showed well all day after having first been seen there yesterday. On the Isles of Scilly a Tawny Pipit was new on St Mary's, and a Subalpine Warbler species was found at Mizen Head, County Cork.
Other eastern rarities today were the Paddyfield Warbler and two Lanceolated Warblers still on the Shetland Isles, Isabelline Shrike species in East Yorkshire, Arctic Warblers in both County Cork and Couty Galway, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Suffolk, Olive-backed Pipits on Shetland (2) and East Yorkshire, and Eastern Stonechat species in Norfolk and Northumberland (2). From the Nearctic came a Long-billed Dowitcher in Leicestershire at Eyebrook Reservoir, the Pacific Diver again in County Cork, Baird's Sandpiper in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Lesser Yellowlegs in Essex, and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire. |

| New discoveries today included a Paddyfield Warbler at Norwick on Unst, Shetland, Alpine Swift at Otterton in Devon, Rustic Bunting at Trimley Marshes in Suffolk, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Inch Island in County Donegal, Eastern Stonechat on Holy Island in Northumberland, Arctic Warbler at Mizen Head in County Cork, Desert Wheatear at Inverallochy in Aberdeenshire, and Lesser Scaup at Loch Leven, Kinross.
Lingering rarities included two Lanceolated Warblers in Shetland, Isabelline Shrike species, Arctic Warbler, and Dusky Warbler in East Yorkshire, Eastern Stonechats in Cleveland and Norfolk, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Red-flanked Bluetail in East Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Baird's Sandpiper and Bonaparte's Gull in County Wexford, and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk. |

| New discoveries today included a Lanceolated Warbler at Norwick, Unst, Shetland (where it joined yesterday's Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler), a Booted Warbler on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, a Radde's Warbler at Saltfleetby, Lincolnshire, a Red-flanked Bluetail at Flamborough, Yorkshire, an Olive-backed Pipit at Corton, Suffolk and an Eastern Stonechat species at Cromer, Norfolk.
Lingering rarities included the Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler in Orkney, Lanceolated Warbler in Shetland, Isabelline Shrike species, Arctic Warbler, Dusky Warbler and Olive-backed Pipit in Yorkshire, Eastern Stonechats in Cleveland and Northumberland, Canvasback in Essex, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk. |

| Eastern passerines continued to arrive with now an Eastern Crowned Warbler on the Shetland Isles on Mainland at Turriefield, Two-barred Greenish Warbler still in North Yorkshire, Pallas's Grasshopper Warblers on Shetland on Unst and on the Orkney Isles on North Ronaldsay, also Lanceolated Warblers on both Orkney and Shetland, an Isabelline Shrike species new in East Yorkshire at Bempton Cliffs, Radde's Warbler and Greenish Warbler in Norfolk, Arctic Warbler in East Yorkshire, Olive-backed Pipits in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, Dusky Warblers in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Lincolnshire, Rustic Bunting and Red-flanked Bluetail in East Yorkshire at Flamborough Head, Coues's Redpoll on Shetland, and Eastern Stonechat species in Cleveland, Norfolk, Northumberland, and Shetland.
Otherwise the Western Bonelli's Warbler remained on the Isles of Scilly, Semipalmated Sandpiper and Long-billed Dowitcher were together in Devon at Dawlish Warren, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Red-footed Falcon in Pembrokeshire on Skokholm, Lesser Yellowlegs in Gloucestershire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |

| New discoveries today included an Eastern Olivaceous Warbler at Flamborough Head, East Yorkshire, Two-barred Greenish Warbler at Saltwick Bay, North Yorkshire, Olive-backed Pipits at Thornwick Bay, North Yorkshire, and Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Dawlish Warren in Devon, Red-rumped Swallow on Kennack Sands, Cornwall, Arctic Warbler and Dusky Warbler at Spurn in East Yorkshire.

| New discoveries today included a Baird's Sandpiper at Carne, County Wexford, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Pilning Wetland, Gloucestershire, a Black-winged Stilt at Exminster Marshes, Devon and a White-billed Diver off Whitburn, County Durham, whilst the Forster's Tern returned to Poole Harbour, Dorset.
Lingering rarities included the Pale-legged Leaf Warbler, Arctic Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire, Pechora Pipit and an Eastern Stonechat species in Shetland, Brown Shrike in Orkney, two Northern Harriers in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Baird's Sandpipers in County Wexford and County Donegal, Canvasback in Essex and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire. |
