| A Brown Booby flew past Sandwich Bay, Kent. Other new discoveries included a Booted Warbler on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, a Greenish Warbler at Flamborough, Yorkshire, a Lesser Yellowlegs at St Aidan's RSPB, Yorkshire, a Long-billed Dowitcher at The Cull, County Wexford and two Ferruginous Ducks at Shawell, Leicestershire.
Lingering rarities included the Canvasback in Essex, two Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, Wilson's Phalarope in Merseyside, Dusky Warbler in Orkney, Greenish Warbler in Lothian and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire. |

| The highlight of the day was a Little Crake was found at Cotswold Water Park in Wiltshire, three Blyth's Reed Warblers, two at Valyie in Shetland, and one at Flamborough in East Yorkshire, a Baird's Sandpiper at Ferrybridge in Dorset, four Greenish Warblers, one at Tarbat Ness in Highland, one at Tynemouth in Northumberland, and two in Lothian, one at Skateraw, the other at Thorntonloch, a Red-flanked Bluetail at Holme NOA in Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper at Saltholme in Cleveland, White-billed Diver flew past Skaw, Shetland, a Tawny Pipit flew over Corton in Suffolk and a Dusky Warbler at North Ronaldsay, Orkney.
Lingering rarities included the Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Wilson's Phal in Lancashire, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Down and Orkney, Blue-winged Teal and Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, and a Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian. |

| A Citrine Wagtail was found on Blakeney Point, Norfolk, a White-billed Diver flew past Eyemouth, Borders, a Pallid Harrier was present at Spurn, East Yorkshire, and a Long-billed Dowitcher was found on Sanday, Orkney

| A Wilson's Phalarope was found at Marshside RSPB, Merseyside mid afternoon, whilst a Blyth's Reed Warbler was at Holkham, Norfolk and a Greenish Warbler was at Kilnsea, Yorkshire.
Lingering rarities included the Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, Hudsonian Godwit in Flintshire, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Cornwall, Baird's Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk (two) and County Wexford, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler in Shetland. |

| In Shetland an Arctic Warbler was found on Whalsay and a Blyth's Reed Warbler was found on Unst. A Scopoli's Shearwater flew past Kilcummin Head in County Mayo, a Pallid Harrier flew over Scaling Dam Reservoir in North Yorkshire and a Black Kite flew over South Foreland in Kent. In Norfolk there were two Red-rumped Swalllows briefly near Holt this morning and in Cambridgeshire a female Ferruginous Duck was found at Ouse Fen.
The Hudsonian Godwit was seen again on the Dee Estuary in Flintshire and the Canvasback was still frequenting Abberton Reservoir in Essex. Other lingering rarities included Greenish Warblers in Shetland, Lothian, East Yorkshire and County Durham, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Cornwall, Baird's Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Down, Bonaparte's Gull in Argyll, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire and Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire. |

| New rarities today consisted of a White-rumped Sandpiper at Smerwick Harbour in County Kerry, Ferruginous Ducks at Stanford Resr in Northamptonshire and at Etton in Cambridgeshire, Greenish Warbler at Easington in East Yorkshire, White-billed Diver at Carinbulg in Aberdeenshire, Arctic Warbler at Burrafirth in Shetland, and Black Kite at Bockhill Farm in Kent.
Continuing rarities included at least seven Greenish Warblers scattered all along the east coast of Britain, the Hudsonian Godwit still in Flintshire, Canvasback in Essex, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Cornwall and Western Isles, Red-footed Falcon in County Donegal, Lesser Scaup in Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Black Kite in County Cork, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk. |

| The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the dark morph Booted Eagle in Cornwall where it was seen briefly over Nanquidno. Elsewhere a Scopoli's Shearwater was at sea off the Isles of Scilly, a Thrush Nightingale was new on the Shetland Isles on Fair Isle, Semipalmated Sandpiper on the Western Isles on South Uist, Black Kite in County Cork on Cape Clear, Red-rumped Swallow in Norfolk at Waxham, Bonaparte's Gulls in Argyll on Mull, in Fife at Fife Ness, and in London at Rainham Marshes, and a day total of 10 Greenish Warblers with singles in Aberdeenshire, Borders, County Durham, and Lincolnshire, and two each in both Lothian, Shetland, and East Yorkshire.
Continuing rarities comprised the Hudsonian Godwit still in Flintshire, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Canvasback in Essex, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Down, Red-footed Falcon in County Donegal, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and two White-rumped Sandpipers together in Norfolk. |

| The highlight of the day was a significant fall of drift migrants on the Engligh east coast including a Thrush Nightingale in Norfolk at Blakeney Point, and Greenish Warblers in Norfolk (Holme Dunes and Sea Palling), East Yorkshire (Flamborough Head), and North Yorkshire (Whitby).
Discoveries elsewhere comprised a Tawny Pipit briefly in Somerset at Burnham-on-Sea, a Long-billed Dowitcher in County Down at Quoile Pondage, a Red-footed Falcon in County Donegal at Rinnasligo, a Black Kite briefly in Perth and Kinross at Dunning, and a White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire at Banff. Continuing rarities comprised the Hudsonian Godwit still in Flintshire, Canvasback in Essex, two Semipalmated Sandpipers in Cornwall, Citrine Wagtail and Greenish Warbler both on the Shetland Isles, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Dublin and Norfolk (2), and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire. |

| Today's easterly winds in southern England did not bring as much excitement as some had thought they might, but seawatching produced a White-billed Diver flying north up the Suffolk coast, with another past Fife Ness in Fife.
The Hudsonian Godwit put in another appearance on the Dee Estuary in Flintshire and the Stilt Sandpiper was still to be found at Kilnsea in East Yorkshire. Other lingering rarities included the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in both Norfolk and County Dublin, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Cornwall, Black-headed Bunting, Greenish Warbler and Citrine Wagtail in Shetland, with a further Citrine Wagtail still in County Wexford. |

| A pelagic trip off the Isles of Scilly produced another sighting of South Polar Skua this evening, south west of Bishop Rock, whilst the east coast saw a smart Stilt Sandpiper found at Beacon Ponds, Kilnsea, and on the Northern Isles a Great Snipe was seen on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, and a Greenish Warbler was on Unst in the Shetlands.
Lingering rarities included Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, two White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Gull-billed Tern on The Scillies, Citrine Wagtails on Shetland and in County Wexford and Black-headed Bunting in Shetland. |
